Everything was great except the WiFi failed to perform

Beautiful campground on Lake Superior.

The location on Lake Superior is beautiful and of course the mild weather helped! The campgrounds and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

The view from site 12 was amazing.

Beautiful setting, mostly wooded sites. Bath houses were clean but some issues with the showers and WiFi worked one day and not the next.

Great site, great weather. Love being close to town and the bathrooms are always clean :)

We come here every year for our vacations.. The area is beautiful with lots of things to go and see. People are always nice and polite… one downfall this year was the showers.. you have five showers in the wash house and four of them were out of order. The bath house closest to the office… but otherwise had an excellent time..

I have to say that the weather was great, good job on that! The scenery was also beautiful, good job on that! our disappointment came with the bath houses. We usually rate our stay at a campground by the cleanliness and quality of the bath houses. Even the newest one had only two working showers! One of the women’s toilet stalls was out of water and a urinal was out of order in the men’s room.

It was clean, quiet and the views were beautiful to the lake.

We are so glad we chose this campground. We love how close it is to Picture Rock. We enjoyed walks on the beach and the view of Lake Superior. There was some issues with some of the showers but we still give them 5 stars!!

We love the location and check-in staff very friendly BUT 1 out of 5 showers working in the bathroom at our end of the campground.

Clean, well maintained campground with Water hookups, showers, laundry, and other amenities. Hosts were great and staff was accessible. Many spots have clear view of Superior. A few restaurants, all good, a gas station/convenience store, small shops, and friendly to bikes and other ways to get around.

Great place to stay.

LOVE this place! Grand Marais is the perfect little peace of Heaven on earth. The campground is a great place to set up camp and relax. Thank you! We will be back!!
