Woodland Park Campground — Reviews

Beautiful area right on Lake Superior! We appreciated the clean bathrooms. Our stay in the UP was such fun! I would definitely recommend Woodland Park Campground! The town of Grand Marais was fun to explore.

Very well run campground. Bathrooms and showers cleaned daily, beautiful location, and spacious camp spots. Would absolutely stay here again!

Campground was clean and so were bathrooms and showers. Views were amazing and it’s close by everything.

Our campsite had a wonderful view of Lake Superior! We love the town of Grand Marais. Only wish we could find a way to repel the biting flies.

Very nice, quite and clean campground!

The site had power and water and was large enough for our rig. The bathrooms were clean and updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. The dump station was slightly awkward to get to and use.

The view we had the cleanliness of the park, restrooms and showers and the people were awesome. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year.

Great Beach. Easy spots to maneuver. Great bathroom facilities.

The park is clean and neat. The bathrooms and showers are spotless. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is an easy walk into town for shopping and restaurants. Been to Grand Marais many times, but this is the first time at the campground. Passed it over many times as it was first come - first served. That has changed, and now you can make a reservation! Too far off the beaten path to not be assured of a site. Next year, they are expanding to reservation only.

It was open! Had no issues while staying there. Water wasn't turned on yet but we expected that. See you next time.
