Campground Policies

We want you to have fun and enjoy your stay with us at Woods-N-Waters Kampground. The following policies and guest information are being provided to you to help ensure your stay with us is carefree and safe.

Check In: 1:00 PM | Check Out: 12:00 PM | Quiet Time: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Reservation Policies:

• Must be 21 years of age to reserve a campsite.• Tent camping is available through office reservation ONLY • At the time of booking, all reservations must be paid in full. • Cancellation: Reservations canceled 4+ days from the check-in date will be subject to a $30.00 fee. Reservations canceled within 0 - 3 days from the check-in date will forfeit the complete reservation. Reservations canceled for holiday weekends will forfeit the complete reservation. If a reservation is canceled, the payment may be converted to Camp Credit instead of being forfeited. Camp Credit can be applied toward any future reservation and must be used within one year of the date on which it was issued.

General Park Policies:

• CAMPGROUND SPEED LIMIT: 5 MPH AT ALL TIMES! Please obey entrance, exit, one-way, and speed limit signs at all times. • Smoking (including the use of electronic smoking devices) is prohibited in ALL buildings and within 25 feet of all public entrances. In consideration of others, no smoking in or around the pool. • Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times in the store building. • All fires must be out by 1:00 AM and contained to designated fire areas/fire pits. Please do not use fire pits as garbage pits. Dispose of garbage in designated receptacles. Please do not relocate the fire rings. If concerned about the fire ring location, please visit the store. • Changing campsites is prohibited without prior authorization. • Do not move picnic tables or fire rings to another site. • Restrooms cannot be cleaned after each use, so please clean up after yourself. The guests following you will appreciate it. • Wastewater must be discharged into authorized receptacles only and never discharged onto the grounds. Dump station is provided by store as you exit the campground. Use sewer hose at dump station. • Absolutely no grease, oil, or gas may be dumped on property. • Registration tags must be visibly displayed on all vehicles. • Campground guests are responsible for the conduct, behavior, and monitoring of their children, pets, and visitors. • Guests are financially responsible for any damage to campground property, intentional or accidental; so please respect the grounds. • Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM • No Loud music. Please be respectful of other guests.

 General Park Policies:

• Firearms, lethal weapons, and drugs are prohibited on property. No fireworks allowed within campground at any time! • The use of personal motorized vehicles -- including golf carts, scooters, side-by-sides, UTVs/ATVs, and similar transport -- is prohibited • Please refrain from walking through occupied sites. • Common courtesy will prevail between all guests in the park. Profane, abusive, or threatening language or actions directed at campground personnel or other guests is prohibited and can result in immediate eviction without refund. • Please see separate pool policy. • Most importantly, be safe and have fun!!!

Recreation Room Policies:

• No wet swimsuits or towels in Recreation Room. • Pool Table – limit your play time to 20 minutes if others are waiting to play. • Cleanup after use of equipment (For example, clean and wipe the interior of the microwave oven). • Be respectful of others; keep noise to a minimum. No running or rough play in Recreation Room. • TV Stations Louisville, KY: 3 NBC & 11 ABC • TV Stations Indianapolis IN: 4 Local, 6 ABC, 8 CBS, 13 NBC

Site Policies:

• Daily and weekly rates based on 2 people ($6 each extra person/day) • One camping unit and 2 vehicles (site allowing) per site (a camping unit is (1) RV, Pop-up, Truck Camper or Van). There is additional parking west of the pool. • No clotheslines. • A 2-3 night minimum for holidays or events may apply. • Check in time is 1:00 PM. Check out time is 12:00 PM. • Early arrival between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM – $15 additional fee if site is available. • Late Departure between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM – $15 additional fee if site is available.• Trash must be placed in plastic bags, securely closed, and placed in the dumpster on the south side of the road just before you exit the campground. • No parking on roads or empty campsites.

Visitor Policies:

• All visitors must stop in the store to register. • Visitors of guests $5.00 per child (4-17), $10.00 per adult (18+) • Visitor passes are $10.00 per vehicle per day. This fee allows us to continually improve the park, keep our pool and facilities pristine, and ensure that we know who is always in the campground. • Visiting Hours are 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily. • Visitor parking is located west of the pool. • All visitors must abide by campground rules.

Laundry Facility Policies:

Campground Policies Woods N-Waters Kampground 8855 S 300 W, Columbus, IN 47201 • Hours of operation are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily. • Use of washers, dryers, and utility sinks for the cleaning of pet blankets, oil/gas/paint laden materials, etc. is prohibited. • Washers and dryers are available. • Please clean dryer lint traps between use and when finished with use.

Pet Policies:

• Pets are always welcome, but must be kept on a leash, cleaned up after, and closely monitored at all times. No pets (with the exception of service animals) allowed in store, swimming pool, bathhouse, or other buildings on property. • Must be kept on leash (3 Meters or less) and maintained by individual or fixed to structure. • Walk your pet(s) in areas away from campsites. • Clean up after your pet each and every time. • Dispose of waste in securely tied bag and disposed in dumpster. • No pets in main building, Restroom, store, or pool area. Exception: service dog. Exception: service dog. Disclosure All guests and vendors are responsible for abiding by campground rules and policies. Any person who fails to adhere to the campground rules and policies may be evicted from the grounds at the sole discretion of campground management without refund. Guests use the campground facilities and amenities at their own risk. The campground is not responsible for loss or damage due to fire, accident, theft, weather, or catastrophic events. This includes injuries resulting in bodily harm. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Management reserves the right to make changes to the rules and policies at any time, without prior notice.

Pool policies are established and required by the Bartholomew County Health Department for the operation of a pool in a campground and serve to provide a safe and healthy pool for your enjoyment. Hours: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM | Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend

Pool Policies:

• All guests shall use the restroom prior to entering the swimming pool area. Please refrain from urinating in the swimming pool; instead, use the bathhouse/restroom as necessary. • All guests using the swimming pool shall take a cleansing shower prior to entering the pool. • Any guest(s) having or reasonably suspected to have any considerable area of exposed tissue, cuts, contagious or communicable diseases (i.e. cough, cold, open sores, blisters, bandaged wounds, fever, inflammation of the eyes, nasal or ear drainage, etc.) shall not be allowed to enter the swimming pool. • Spitting, spouting water, blowing the nose and other similar behavior(s) in the swimming pool area are strictly prohibited. • NO RUNNING, Jumping, DIVING, or ROUGH PLAY permitted in the swimming pool and bathhouse areas. Diving is strictly prohibited in the swimming pool at all times. • Glass and/or hazardous objects shall not be permitted within the swimming pool and bathhouse areas. • ALL children under the age of 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. • No guest shall bring or throw into the pool area (including floors, walkways, aisles, or dressing rooms) any object that may in any way carry contamination or endanger the safety of another guest. • Any guest suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited from entering the swimming pool area. • Appropriate swimwear must be worn. Street clothes are not permitted inside the swimming pool at any time. No shorts or cut offs allowed. • Smoking (including the use of electronic smoking devices) is prohibited in the swimming pool and bathhouse areas and within 25 feet of all public entrances. • Pets/animals (with the exception of service animals) shall be prohibited within the swimming pool and bathhouse facilities. • The pool shall not be operated during severe weather conditions (i.e. electrical storms, tornadoes, etc.) Swimming pool may be closed at the discretion of management due to unusually cold or unpredicted weather. • ALL babies, children not toilet trained, and adults with incontinence problems MUST wear swim diapers at all times. • Only soft pool toys allowed in the swimming pool. • Use shower in swimming area for intended use only. • Pool is restricted to registered campers only. If you are a guest of registered Campers, the following fee will apply: $3.00 for adult (age 17 and up); $2 for child (age 4-16). • GUESTS USE THE SWIMMING POOL AT OWN RISK. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.

Terms and Conditions 

  • Tenants and Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children and/or pets.

  • Tenant assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Landlord harmless from and indemnify Landlord against the same.

  • The campground is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle.

  • We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.

  • All guests and visitors must register in the office upon arrival.

  • All Motorhomes, RVs or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance.

  • We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.

  • Total number of guests in any space or unit cannot exceed the maximum capacity for that site.

  • Propane grills and propane fire pits are allowed.

  • Blowup mattresses, sleeping bags and cots are not allowed outside.

  • Maintenance on RV’s or vehicles on property is not allowed.

  • Washing RVs or vehicles on property is not allowed.

  • The use of any paint products or chemicals is prohibited.

  • Clotheslines are not allowed.

  • Guests may not hang any items from the trees.

  • All sites are to be kept neat and clean for the duration of your stay.

  • All trash is to be disposed of in the dumpster located near the entrance of the property.

  • DO NOT leave trash out overnight.

  • All guests should ensure pets and small children are supervised at all times.
