Yakima RV Park — Reviews

This is a low-rent park where people live year round. A vehicle that hadn’t been started in quite awhile had to be moved for us to access a very tiny site. Dog poop everywhere. Loud and crowded. Train tracks nearby and train horns all night long. Dry camping would be better than this. Definitely do not recommend.

Nice spot. Clean restrooms and showers. Friendly staff and other “Campers.”

We stayed for 10 days at Yakima RV Park, and after a slightly rough first night, most of them were just fine. Overall, as RV parks go, it's pretty quiet and peaceful most of the time. Occasionally loud trucks go by on the nearby street, but we slept well and comfortably while we were there. The office seems to be closed pretty frequently, but when there was someone there they were friendly and helpful. There are rest rooms, showers, and even a pool available, and these were kept clean and well maintained. The first night, the door to the rest rooms and showers was locked (as expected), and the provided code was not opening it (NOT expected). By the next day (and for the remainder of our stay) the door opened just fine. The manager on-duty said that sometimes the door sticks - luckily it didn't happen again during our time there. Other than that first night it was an easy and uneventful 10 days in Yakima, and we appreciated it.

This was truly a huge mistake. Hit Book button on RV Parky and instead of taking us to state park, took us to Yakima RV in town. Road that campground sits on is full of homeless people, there are lots of FT folks living at this RV park. Razor wire around premises with apartments/ hotels surrounding. Would not recommend, very sketchy

For a tent site, they gave us an asphalt parking space. No grass and next to a busy road. We left and went to a hotel.

Not the best part of town. although the Park was clean and well kept. Traffic noise was bad at times during the night

It was just what we needed for a one night stay. Power, sewer, water. Internet was slow so spent $3 for faster speed for my ipad. Picnic Tables could use some tlc, a good sanding and a fresh coat of paint. The grass area was uneven in spots hard for someone who’s wobbly on their feet like me. I was so darn hot we really didn’t spend any time outside. Small tight spaces but thats to be expected in a city campground.

Lot was the size if a car parking space. Water connection didn't work. 1 of the 4 men showers were functional. At least the bathroom was clean.

This place was seriously gross. Just don’t do it. We left and didn’t stay. Took a lap and then left. You’ve been warned.

This place is a dump. Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Placed us in a site too small for our trailer. The long term renters seemed sketchy at best.

We did not get to stay as we needed to get back to Portland to take care of our daughter’s cat. I think we were too late for a refund. However, the registration process and reminders were professional and made us feel welcome.

We booked in error never stayed no where near it. Called emailed and no answer.

One of my choice was this RV park because the swimming pool no previous notice or anything. It was closed, I did not get the access code to the facilities. E-mail or telephone did not worked. I stayed an other night on a reason, but online was not possible get the same spot. I did not reserved an other because it makes a mess and may other people can not able checked in if I`m not moving to the new reserved spot. I filled the the registration form, but I afraid leave it in a unsecured box, in an area infested with junkies. Over all I`m not impressed the property cleanness, all the leaves everywhere from fall, makes messy this place.
