Yellowstone Hot Springs — Reviews

We really enjoyed our stay—the area was quite beautiful and peaceful. Our site had water and electric hookups, which worked great, and the shared public water hose nearby was super convenient. The campground had a relaxed vibe, which we appreciated, but we did have a few issues that stood out. Unfortunately, we encountered multiple off-leash dogs that tried to approach (and in one case, nearly attack) our own leashed dogs. It would be great to see the leash policy enforced more strictly for everyone’s safety. The women’s bathroom was clean and overall well-maintained, though the floors got wet easily—some added drainage could really help. We also wish there were more trash bins around the campground. On a positive note, the hot springs nearby were a great experience, and everyone we met during our stay was friendly and welcoming.

Campground is a few miles north of the Yellowstone North Gate, it is close to the main road but there was a land berm buffer and we didn’t hear any noise. The other side of the campground borders the river. We visited the hot springs, nice to have that available, and they’ve put a lot of work into making it a nice place to relax. It has a resort like feel. The campground itself was nothing g special; a big gravel lot with electric hookups across from the over section with the hot springs. It was ok for the evening although a bit pricey considering it didn’t provide full hookups and lack of amenities on that side of the road.

The views from the camp spot were incredible! Very convenient location to Yellowstone. The hot springs were relaxing after a long day of hiking or driving. Only wish they had more spots with water hookup. They all have electric but only a select few have water and electric.

Dusty and dirty from the adjacent road during the day and no shade. Loud and obnoxious after dark. They ran loud 2 stroke power washer motors from 9pm until after 11:30pm. Like really load. It was impossible to sleep being in a rustic camp spot next to the Hot Spring. Would never recommend to anyone.

Easy to check it, clean, low key!

Amazing views! Host was kind and helpful. Clean bathrooms and shower house. Laundry room available if needed.

The RV sites were not level and people were walking through our campsites to go to the Hot Springs Park next-door.

Rented a RV full hook up site , they didn’t unlock sewage dump until asked several times the hot springs is 13 dollars per person per day and that’s after the discount they provide for staying in the park , will not be returning

We loved how it was so close to the north entrance and the hot springs was soo awesome.

Network was in and out along with some power glitches. Staff was slow to respond. Probably due to all the construction going on. Looks like they have a lot of things planned. The Hot springs pool was fine. The park is about 30 minutes from Yellowstone. The park setting is lovely along the Yellowstone river. Elk herd visits the park. As expected, there is scat everywhere.

The campground was okay, but the showerhouse and restrooms were about 10 min. walking from our tentsite, so you better start walking before you have to go to the bathroom. We left a day earlier.. it just wasn't what we expected.

Even though they were doing last minute remodeling, they were very accommodating. The camp grounds is in an excellent spot for scenery. Clean and well maintained. Thank you all Andy

The location was great! Close to Yellowstone. Access to bathrooms (I don’t consider a portable potty acceptable) was difficult - on the other side of the road through construction. Hot Springs are nice! This is our third stay here due to location. Showers and restrooms are always a problem.

No water at site

Front desk gentleman was super friendly. He provided us with all the information we needed about the pools and warnings about slippery areas. We stayed in cabin 4 to accommodate a family of six. It was very clean and inviting. The only negative was that it was about 10 degrees outside and the beds were only covered with one thin bedspread and there were zero extra blankets available. We were unable to use the pull out bed because there was only one sheet and pillow provided. We definitely wouldn’t stay there in the cold weather again.

We stayed in the electric only side near the river. Little bit trash around but overall it was good.

Not maintained.

It was just a nice, friendly camp ground.I really enjoyed my stay
