Terms & Conditions

The following rules and regulations are provided to protect Galloway Hammond RV Park guests for the enjoyment, convenience, health and safetyof guests. The rules should be observed in the spirit of consideration for others. RV Park Guests who fail to obey the Rules and Regulations may be subject to eviction.

1. FEES: All fees must be paid in advance. Daily- $28, Weekly- $170, Monthly-$440, Dump Fee - $8. Due date for each rental period shall be the first day of the rental period. A late fee of 20% of all fees owed shall be charged on accounts not paid by the due date. Rent not paid by the 10 th day after the due date shall subject the renter to immediate eviction.

2. RESERVATIONS: Spaces are on a first-come, first- served basis. No spaces shall be reserved. All residents will be subject to background check.

3. DISPLAY: RV Rental Agreement ticket must be affixed to the door of the recreational vehicle and visibly displayed at all times.

4. REFUNDS: No refunds will be given for unused days except in the case of critical illness or death of the renter or his/her immediate family, including self, spouse, child or parent.

5. VISITOR POLICY: All visitors must leave the RV Park by 7pm unless registered as an overnight guest. Please register overnight visitors at the YMCA no later than 5pm. All visitors will be subject to a background check.

6. AMENITIES: Galloway Hammond RV Park is intended as a temporary use park only. Spaces may not be rented for extended periods of time without prior arrangement and approval of YMCA management. Rental includes use of the Laundry Room, site electric, water and sewer hookups only. The combination for the laundry/shower room is 5, 1, 2. Laundry and bathroom facilities are monitored. Laundry facilities are a resident privilege. No guests are allowed to utilize laundry facilities. Doing so will result in immediate termination of lease
for resident. Use of the YMCA or its other facilities is subject to additional applicable usage fees. All waste/sewage, water or effluent must be deposited directly into the space’s dump station and may not be deposited directly on any pavement, dirt or vegetation. Guests staying over one week must enclose their sewer lines in PVC pipe to prevent leakage caused by exposure to UV rays as well as from damage from routine park maintenance. RENTER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DUMPING THE TRASH CAN AT THEIR SITE INTO THE DUMPSTER AS NEEDED AND ALSO BEFORE THEY CHECK OUT FROM THE RV PARK.

7. SITE RESTRICTIONS: With the exception of steps for access into and out of the recreational vehicle, structures, fences, outbuildings or additions will not be allowed. All personal belongings must be stored inside the vehicle, not outside the RV. Vehicles must be self- contained and carry the RV industry’s approval registry number and manufacturer’s date. RV’s must remain on wheels at all times and must be moveable. Vehicles must be parked within the designated lines of the lot space. Parking over the line may result in a parking citation or an extra fee for the additional RV space. There shall be no more than one vehicle per RV space. Additional vehicles, boats, trailers, etc., shall be charged the rate of $10 per week per vehicle or $30 per month per vehicle. No large group activities or assemblies may be held in Galloway Hammond RV Park.

8. RESIDENTS: All residents may be subject to a background check and each resident must personally check in at the YMCA in order for us to verify ID.

9. RV AND SITE APPEARANCE: NO RV with year model older than 2015 shall be permitted in this park. Guests must keep their site clean and free from clutter at all times. No vehicle repairs, maintenance activities, fluid changes, washing/rinsing of vehicles or RV’s are permitted on the property. Visual inspections will be conducted at will by YMCA staff or designee, failure to keep RV, vehicles, and site in acceptable condition may result in immediate termination of lease agreement.

10. SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited in all City/YMCA-owned buildings.

11. PETS: Pets must be contained or remain on a leash at all times. Aggressive dogs will be removed and banned from the park. Pets may not be left unattended outdoors at any time. Excessive barking is not permitted. Droppings from pets must be picked up immediately and removed to a trash receptacle.

12. DAMAGES: Registered guests and all other users of this property are liable for all property damages.

13. HOURS/SUBSTANCE RESTRICTIONS: Quiet hours are from 9:00 pm to 7:00 a.m. daily. (Generators may be operated only between the hours of 7:00a.m. and 9:00p.m.) Please ensure that all speakers, radios, televisions, or other equipment do not emit sound beyond your space. Rowdiness, loud music, abusive language, drunkenness, and possession or use of drugs will not be tolerated at any time.

14. FIRES: Fires must be contained in covered fire pits only.

15. FIREARMS: Absolutely no firearms, fireworks, explosives or weapons of any kind are permitted within any RV, vehicle of any kind or on
the person of any guest.

16. MINORS: Youths under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

17. LAWS: All federal, state and local laws must be obeyed at all times.

18. LIABILITY: The City of Burnet, The YMCA of Greater Williamson County and the Galloway Hammond RV Park management assume no responsibility or liability for the safety and security of campers/visitors and their personal property. This waiver of liability includes damage from regular maintenance to the RV Park, including any damage inflicted by weed-eaters, mowers, and other maintenance equipment. Guest is advised that they should encase in plastic all hoses, cables, water lines, etc., in order to help prevent damage done by lawn equipment and UV rays. Every effort will be made to ensure that potential damage is prevented, but Renter assumes all liability in the case of an accident involving personnel or equipment owned by the City of Burnet or YMCA of Greater Williamson County.

19. WAIVER: Galloway Hammond RV Park reserves the right to make changes deemed necessary in these regulations. We also reserve the right to refuse services to anyone at any time. Occupants and their vehicles may be removed without a judicial hearing by law enforcement officers upon 72 hours written notice for failure to pay full amount of space rental when due or for failure to comply with the written rules and regulations of the Park.

20. SEX OFFENDER: If you are a registered sex offender you are prohibited by City Ordinance to lease or occupy a space in the Galloway Hammond RV Park. Guests of the RV Park are prohibited from allowing sex offenders visit on the premises.

21. TERMINATION: This lease is on a month by month basis and may be terminated at any time by either party. Early termination by renter will not result in any refund or credit to said party.
