This is a very nice kid friendly camp ground. They have a lot of activities for the kids, even during the week. I like how they have the water park area and a separate pool down the ways a bit. Our campsite was spacious. The fire place placement was a bit strange. It was behind the camper towards the person behinds you site. They are also very dog friendly. While they do not allow dogs on the main beach in the Saco side there is plenty of areas for them to enjoy the Eli’s River side and where both rivers meet. It is a little costly and a lot of the extras costs money but my kids and myself had a wonderful time. My only complaint would be the last two days we were there someone with a bigger dog was not picking up their dog poop all over the camp ground. This is not a negative towards the camp ground but towards people who think they shouldn’t have to pick up their dogs poop. Especially in a place with kids running around everywhere. Oh speaking of kids everywhere the main stretch always has kids everywhere so be careful driving and tell your kids to be careful. A lot of the golf cart drivers are insane. One of them hit the back of my daughters bike tire. It’s like it’s the first time people have used something like that and they go nuts flying around and being crazy. There was even people on our street racing them and trying to drift them. Which would be fine if there wasn’t a bunch of kids every which way walking and on bikes. The dog poop and the golf cart drivers would be my only complaint. Oh and the camp ground food is decent. The ice cream is even not bad. Not comparable to trails end but still not bad.
