Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort: Monticello — Reviews

Great park. It had been 30 years since I had camped here. I was in a camper this time, not a tent. Alot has changed. Lots of stuff for the kids to do, reasonably priced. Fun fishing. Camping spot was decent, although it could have used a bit more gravel to park the camper on. We had an excessive amount of rain, so we were standing in 3 inch deep puddles all around our camp spot. It dryed out some by the next day, again, freakish rain, so I don't blame Jellystone for that. I would definitely recommend and we will be back.

No one showed us where our spot was. There was only gas area. It was raining. The rain continued causing flooding at the campgrounds and also in Ames where we are from. We decided to go home on Saturday cuz we had water in our house basement. We purchased the insurance. We are told it had to rain between 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. That is ridiculous when there is flooding in our state!

Pool was dirty, pot hole all over, arrived on a Sunday to find every dumpster completely overfilled, and it was run down. Staff was awesome! So helpful and accommodating. Thank you!

Every single staff member was friendly, attentive, and greeted us with a smile every time we made contact! The activities were fun! Love that the kids were able too see a character daily. It was raining hard after storytime. The staff turned on a movie and let people hang out in the store until we could safely get back to the camper! Great teamwork! The craft gals were very involved and kind this weekend! The young boys on ground duty were amazing! We had smores with Yogi and the 2 boys and Yogi were tons of fun! Very courteous and helpful. The management was Top of the line!!We look forward to future reservations!

Easy to find, friendly employees at check-in, sites are ok. The lake and pool looked awesome but we didn’t have time to use them. Great place to stay to visit the Movie Set for Field of Dreams & the museums in Dyersville, IA.
