The only complaint is the coat to rent a golf cart. Everything else was great.

Lake/Pond was filthy with algae and hot. WiFi service was non existent as it would connect and disconnect all the time so there is zero access. No trash pickup even though they had their people driving around checking sites daily. Golf cart rental price is way too expensive at $80+ per day. Only thing enjoyable was the river.

Due to a sewer line issue, we were not able to hook up to the sewer until day 3 of our stay. There was little to no communication on the progress of fixing the issue. Were we going to get a discount on our stay? Were they going to come up and empty our tanks when they get full? It wasn’t until our grey tank was full and my husband went to the office to check that we were told it had been fixed earlier that day. The water slides were rarely open. Only 2 people in my group got to experience the slides during a 4 day stay. The pool water was cloudy, the railing to the steps going into the pool was loose and unstable, there was some contraption adding water into the pool (it was a piece of pipe being held up by a block of wood and duct tape) The air conditioning was out in the cafe, the golf cart we rented was dirty and was missing the rear view mirror. It was one inconvenience after another.. There were specified times for different activities that when we went to them they had been cut short or didn’t even occur as no one was there. I’ve probably even left a few things out. It wasn’t until our just a disappointment all around. There were specified times for certain activities that didn’t happen.

The location was great, very convenient to Naturally Bridge. The campground was well-appointed with plenty of showers and restrooms for the many families enjoying their activities. The pool and pond were a huge hit with our family. Sadly we didn’t get to do the tubing activity this time but we will next time. Renting a golf cart was simple, hours were great and overall it was a very positive and pleasant experience.

Our trip with our 4 kids to jellystone was amazing! The staff was great- especially the dark haired lady at the ranger station. She put up with me bugging her about a golf cart during our stay (I didn’t rent one when I booked and regretted it instantly when we arrived and they were out our first day 😅 RENT THE GOLF CART) 10/10 recommend!

RV spaces/hookups are not RV friendly.

Jellystone trip was great. Boys loved the pond and slide. More so the pond. Sites were fine. James River access was a plus. Overall good experience and staff was good. Also visited the Natural Bridge while here. Would definitely come back. Thanks!

Memorial Day weekend… pool was drained, no water slides or splash pads. No drinks allowed at the pool like other Jellystones.

We stayed in the 10-person cabin. The park was amongst a beautiful setting. The grounds were fairly well kept and clean. It was off season but we were still disappointed that the cafe was not open and little to no activities. The cabin is extremely over priced for what you get. We were charged for additional people even though we only had 7 staying with us even though all the pools, splash pad, etc were closed , so not really sure what those fees were for. It’s basically completely bare. No bed linens, towels, only two rolls of toilet paper…. There were a few pans and utensils in the kitchen to cook with. The coffee pot was old and dirty. But otherwise the cabin was clean. The kids really enjoyed the play ground and jump pad. I think maybe the camper/rv spots are more economical but we were limited to finding a place to stay with our large family in the area.
