Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort: Western New York — Reviews

Tons of things the kids can do daily, from water park to ga-ga ball… very disappointed in the staff tho… I should say only the staff that interacted with the children! Not one of them seemed cheerful or into hyping up the kids or the excitement that should come with seeing yogi, boo boo or cindi bear! I understand it must be routine for them but it was a very disappointing effort they gave. Also, I wish items in the gift store actually had prices on them instead of the surprise you got when checking out.

Good: There is always something to do here from all the activities to the pools and water park. Bad: There is no management in sight at this place. Seems to be run by high school and college aged kids riding around on their golf carts. It’s like the Wild West around here sometimes. Bathrooms get disgusting as the day goes on, garbage doesn’t get picked up, campers seem to do whatever the heck they want. Just needs a little management and to be spruced up a little and it would be great again.

The park was a lot of fun for our 3 kids, however the staff did make an error on our reservation. On the phone we said we wanted the golf cart rental for our full stay, however after only 2 days, the front desk called and said we needed to return it because it was not booked the full time. We asked to speak to a manager and Leslie basically said too bad. The staff all had good carts and we definitely could have kept it another day, but the staff was not accommodating at all for our children. Kids activities were cute but not well executed… the foam dance party had no music, the treasure hunt was a 2 minute activity, the girls running it looked miserable. We would go back for the park because of the splash zone but not for the customer service or staff. Also the bathrooms were clean weekdays, but the weekend hit and they were disgusting.

This is an awesome place to stay with many activities to do. Loved the gold cart rental part. Didn’t feel out of my element at all. It was a wonderful weekend.
