10 Acres Campground & RV Park — Reviews

This cozy camp ground offered beautiful views of lake Champlain. The sites were small but had enough room to accommodate our stay and give us an opportunity to chat with neighbors.

VERY QUITE AND NOBODY BOTHERED YOU

Nice quiet camp ground with nice views of the lake. Small sites. Not much to do.

Not our fav campsite we’ve been to. This site is run by the seasonal campers, and most of their campers are complete eyesores and Mother Nature is even reclaiming a few of them, they’ve been neglected so long. The pool area is loud which is to be expected, but when there is 8 kids running around with kazoos and the parents do nothing, it kills the vibe for everyone trying to enjoy themselves. As a transient staying for 1 night, the locals will walk by your sight and gawk at your setup making it a little uncomfortable. The surrounding area is gorgeous. The water pressure was good and the electricity worked at an average of 114 volts. If you are stopping overnight on your way to another destination and there is no other options… fine, but don’t make it your destination. We were bummed it wasted our time and gas money. This place would be much better if they just did some maintenance, the power pedestals are all crooked, the outlet boxes are in rough shape, and the water spigots are free hanging close to the ground. I hate being so negative but it was just a disaster.

Nice greetings, nice pool. But the T-10 field needs maintenance. There are large holes in the grass caused by a vehicle after it rained, and they haven't been repaired. This makes it dangerous to twist your ankle while walking there in the evening, even with a flashlight. It does not seems to be their priorities. Because of that I left one day earlier.

The road into the park was filled with deep holes, very slow driving. Also our site was not level, had trouble getting our RV leveled. It was quiet in the back were we stayed. Dump station was very basic on the way in.

It was close to some amazing historical places.

Nice setting. Great WiFi. Clean older Showers. Expensive wood, ice. Attentive staff.

Loved our site (87) very quiet camp ground. I gave 4 stars because the roads throughout the camp ground are terrible, lots of potholes that need attention it really rattles your vehicle and camper around. They were like this last year too.

Easy check in, easy to park and had an amazing spot I wish I had more than 2 nights there. Beautiful location too.

Everyone was super nice! Clean bathrooms with awesome water pressure! Spacious sites, easy in and out.

It was a very quiet and pleasant campground had a nice swimming pool . Our site was great private. Host was pleasant A little disappointed that the dock wasn’t in until the end of our stay and overall not much to do at campground had to travel outside of it to find entertainment . There were alot of seasonal campers most sites were close together WiFi was slow . Animal friendly our pups had room to play were we were .

It would have been nice if they had the docks in so we could had done some fishing off the dock it’s a little rough walking along shore but other then that it was great

Great location on Lake Champlain and close by to Vergennes, VT. Beautiful scenery! Staff was very gracious and accommodating of our late arrival. Our only complaint is the bathroom needed some TLC, and there were some pretty impressive potholes in the driveways. Other than that, we had a great stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet campground in an awesome location!
