Allison Creek Park — Reviews

Rated5.0out of 5Fantastic!
This is a beautiful well laid out campground. Sites are spacious, and you are not crowded out by a neighbor. The sites are well maintained. This is one of those campgrounds where I say "shush...don't tell anybody". We already have plans to go back there.

Park is new, close to town. It’s going to be even greater as the trees mature. Not much shade but you can see that allot of thought went into the planning of the park. We will definitely stay here again.

Our third stay at Allison Creek, and another great stay. This time we did have "critter issues" which the staff quickly addressed, once alerted - a fire ants nest near the fire pit and a wasp nest on the underside of the picnic table. This time we were in lovely Site 20. Highly recommend!

The park is great. Being a new park, there is not a lot of shade in areas, but overall, we were very impressed with the park and its facilities. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Allison creek is a very nice county park. It is well run, clean and quiet. My only issue is with the fact that many of the sites are severely sloped making it difficult to level especially a motorhome. I will only stay when I can get a reasonably level site.

Great new park with full hookups and large sites. The bathhouse badly needs parking for the non-handicapped though. Some of us are older and not handicapped, but have difficulty walking uphill to the bathhouse.

Our second visit. New campground still trying to get grass established in some of the campsites, but otherwise is so nice and quiet. Nice paved sites with fire ring/grill, 9-ft aluminum picnic tables, reliable wifi, trash collection throughout the day and a nice camp store. Just minutes from shopping and restaurants, if desired.

Beautiful park! Great spacing of sites, RV’s not piled in on top of each other. Park rangers were very helpful, and nice!
