Alpen Rose RV Park — Reviews

After a bump in the road regarding check in time and a site that was not sized adequately for our travel trailer, all went well. We moved to a site that was perfect for us. The campground was quiet and roomy, the grounds spotless, and the bathroom/showers some of the cleanest we have seen. We would stay again.

We stayed here four days and really enjoyed our stay. The park was clean and well maintained and staff was really nice and helpful. The leaves were turning and the surroundings were beautiful.

Everyone at Alpen Rose was friendly and helpful. The place is immaculately kept. Love that they offered propane service on site and even picked up and dropped off. The staff really wanted us to feel welcome during our stay. The location is amazing for lots of adventures all around the Durango area. Highly recommend this place and will be coming back.

The grounds were very nice and the people that run it are even nicer. Very helpful! We encountered many issues with our rental motorcoach due to the freezing temperatures but with their help, we still had a wonderful stay. The restrooms and showers were clean and very convenient for us. Beautiful location and just a short drive to Durango. Would love to come back in spring or fall.

We had such a great time. This RV park is well run and has so much more to offer than most. It has a store, wonderful laundry and showers, cafe with breakfast and dinner options, pool, fishing pond, playground with swings, tether ball, grassy areas, a dog park and dog bathing area. Our grandchildren had a blast riding their bikes around with others. With all the activities surrounding Durango, it was ideal as a home station to retreat to each day. We will definitely return in the future!

Camp ground is beautiful & clean! Staff is super friendly and helpful… my only complaint would be we didn’t realize we would be in a buddy lot which means 2 rvs face each other (which is great for families or groups) but a tad awkward when you don’t know each other. We will definitely come Back!

A well ordered campsite with friendly staff. Sites were a little closer together than if like but apart from that all good. It was great to have a dining option - on our night it was pizza, either delivered to our site or “eat in” at a shady table….if you’re in a small van or RV and only have a stove top I’d recommend this as a treat!

Such a wonderful place, everyone is so nice, staff and other visitors. So peaceful, cool and quiet! We had an amazing visit and can't wait to visit again.
