Cancellations and Refunds
Site lock and booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you need to cancel, do so by e-mail or phone (757-565-2300) to avoid owing the full amount for the stay. 8 days or more before arrival, nightly reservations can be canceled for a $35 cancellation fee; lock site and booking fees are non-refundable. If you would like to avoid the $35 cancellation fee, we can easily hold your deposit for a future stay with no blackout dates or expiration if you cancel your reservation on time.
For example, if you are arriving on a Friday and need to cancel, you must cancel by Thursday of the week before to qualify for a refund and avoid owing for your entire stay.
There are no refunds within 7 days of arrival.
For example, if you are arriving on a Friday, your entire balance will be due by the Friday before your arrival, and there will be no refunds for that full payment.
Refunds after check-In: Used nights are non-refundable. Refunds of unused campsite nights - just like our cancellation policy requires a 7-day notice. A notice of 7 nights' advance notice of a new departure date must be given before any refunds will be granted. All nights beyond the 7-night notice are refundable. There are no refunds for rentals due to early departure.
For example, if there are fewer than 7 nights left in your stay when you leave earlier than you had scheduled with Anvil, you will not receive a refund. If you leave your campsite stay earlier than you had scheduled with Anvil, you will owe for the first 7 nights to cover the 7-night notice, and starting on your 8th day and beyond, you will be refunded for those days.

There are no refunds on this monthly special reservation within 1 month of arrival.
