    Get into the Halloween Spooky Spirit at Ghost Town Banner City's The Haunted Forest in beautiful Julian! Back for our 4th year, bigger and spookier than before! The Haunted Forest is an approx. 1/2 mile Halloween Walk, located at historic Banner Ranch (Banner Store), about 7 miles from Main St. Julian. Our old orchard area is decorated with graveyards, ghosts, and ghouls galore! Costumes encouraged! Wear comfortable walking shoes, The Haunted Forest is in a natural environment, no open-toe shoes please. All Ages welcome! Parental discretion advised though due to some light gory content. Also contains strobe lights and sudden sounds/movements. Purchase your tickets when making a reservation or they are always available for sale at the General Store before the event. Cash and credit card accepted. As well snacks, drinks, and beer available for purchase and may be consumed while walking The Haunted Forest. Fridays and Saturdays in October, plus Thursday Halloween Night, open from 6:30-9;30pm! (weather permitting, since The Haunted Forest is completely outdoors, we must close during bad weather. If rained out, tickets can be used for another night. Please call 760-237-0046 to confirm if open for evening via automated message.) Portion of The Haunted Forest proceeds going towards Julian Town Christmas Decorations! Make a trip of it, and spend the night in one of our tiny houses, covered wagons, or camping sites! We feature a historic General Store built in 1872 with Lucky Lou’s Saloon, serving beer, with pool tables. As well visit our friendly pet burros Elvis & Jerry Lee, or explore nature with easy access to miles of hiking trails! Come on down to Banner, where adventure awaits!
