The building housing the showers basically needs to be demolished. Dark, little air flow and never properly cleaned. Toilet paper in the troughs of the shower. Dump station within a few yards of the showers read “do not rinse feet with this water.” Office, bathrooms and dump station occupy basically waterfront sites at far back of camp. Pit toilets near entrance appear to only get cleaned at the beginning of the season. We forfeited our last nights stay to move on and 2 other campers near us did the same thing. This campground needs an overhaul since it’s a fantastic location on the water. We would never stay here again and will share that with other campers. We camped for over a month in Michigan in state, national, county and private parks. Buttersville was by far the worst.
