Calling Lake Municipal Campground — Reviews

The staff are very friendly and the campers are friendly as well. Nestled in the woods I was able to see a diversity of wildlife. The lake is great when the winds are low to moderate, but anything over 30km makes the water pretty rough for smaller boats. We visit often and always have a nice time.

We love staying at Calling Lake; it is well looked after, bathrooms are clean and usually quiet

It was quiet and relaxing. Only thing is the pic I tables need to be scraped of all the flaking paint and redone.

Great campground. Well treed and big stalls. Unfortunately no showers though. Otherwise a 5/5!

Very clean,except for the people with dogs not picking up after them. The camp attends are checking the grounds regular though out the day and very professional.

the washrooms needs more attention

Stay was just okay, long grass needed a cut, site had little to no privacy.

All was good except washrooms could use updating as they are old and need repair. Also, toilet paper run out and people were bringing in their own. Otherwise was great place to stay.

As usual, I enjoyed my stay in this campgound. Nice large campsites have everything I need and are reasonably private.

Campground could use better cell phone coverage

Nice people and great lake for fishing. Friendly people camping and the people helping deliver campsite wood are also very nice. I often see deers in the park when I visit and hear lots of birds. Access to flushable toliets and nearby outhouses too. Boat launch area always clean.

It was a fantastic place to meet with new friends, the lots are a nice size, the bathroom was nice & clean. Beautiful site! Would have liked to see more of the lake through the trees.

We had an excellent site. Good friends and perfect weather. And we caught some Fish!

It was great as usual. hopefully one day you will have showers on site then it will be the best campsite for me.
