Good fishing

Great campground, but would be nice to have the grass cut in camp sites, and along the road. Also finding that the ground around the fire pits are not cleaned up very well prior to us arriving.

Toilets were disgusting and plugged, no toilet paper, no water. not maintained very well at all.

bathrooms we’re in a state of disrepair, broken doors locks and toilet paper. ran out of water every day, some days causing issues with the flush toilets. Boat launch dock is unsafe, screws can be stepped on, rotten and broken boards. Bolts hanging out that can damage bolts.

Great lake and sites.

The spot was great for fishing, had a nice play park for kids but sadly the washroom facilities are not up to standard. A sink in the ladies washroom is blocked off leaving only one sink for the whole campground. I hear in the men’s the urinal is not functional. How hard is it to maintain the basics? Also the outside water tap for camp use was switched off for many hours of the day it seems due to ‘water issues’ when I asked staff about it. Also no showers, so people need to be aware to be totally self contained for water to be safe at this campground.

It's a great campground which we love going to. The sights are clean and nice.

Campground really needs some upgrades, I think the major reason people come there is for the fishing. Very little beach area, sani dump and washroom building has no exterior running water. Fish cleaning station has water but nozzle on hose was broken so you had to fiddle with it to try to get any water out of it The playground area needs to be cleaned and some fresh sand brought in.

Bathrooms were cleaned everyday. Lots of parking at the boat launch

Poor roads. No fresh water for drinking. This is very bad. Dump station extreamly poor condition. No water to flush trailer. No fresh water to fill trailer. Sites in average condition. Too much gravel in the site itself. Bug infested. Needs to be sprayed. Some sites are surrounded by stagnant water, breeding ground for insects.

Roads and bathrooms were not being maintained so I called the MD and was pleasantly surprised when the road was graded and bathrooms were cleaned and supplied. Fishing was fantastic!

Because we had a good sight to find Satelight on our dish . WE ARE SORRY TO TELL YOU THIS. We are both going on 88 years, we have enjoyed Calling Lake for many happy times, but the time has come, to say a end to camping, to much work now. But Thank YOU for many 34 years of one of the best Lakes for fishing and great camping spots . Betty Nault.
