Calling Lake Municipal Campground — Reviews

Love this place. Will always be a camper here. Needs a bit more maintaining. Bathroom urinal out for over a year. Toilet paper low, lawn needs mowing.

Grass was a foot high, roads are not being graded.. pot holes everywhere. Missing board on launch. Municipality was doing a good job for the first couple years when they took over the maintenance but its already going downhill.

Need to have potable water supply

We stayed in site 7 and found the site very uneven compared to the other sites in the area

Been going to Calling Lake for over 10 years. Just love the fishing and peaceful surroundings. Sites are very decent.

Easy booking and I saw lot of park staff. Feel safe and quiet on the evening great for sleeping.

Good fishing.

Rain and wind

Have been at this campground before and it is always well clean and cared for. Plan on going back in the fall.

The spot was very good, we just felt bad for the couple in site 69 that had to double up on site 71 But a very nice park overall and great fishing

Because we ended up having an older couple on our site for Sunday 9 th to wed June 12. With the rain we had limited space to do things . It was not like our other awesome stays there. You should not have assigned a motor home unit for that soft mushy site 69

We showed up to our site 69 and it was filled with dirt and soaking wet with water . We drove in and our 30 ft motor home started to sink bad. Brad next door in 71 moved his fifth wheel back 10 ft and squeezed us on his site. We were very lucky he was so accommodating . The park was very clean . I wish the park attendants could have offered us another spot with many vacant around us while we were there. With two of us jammed on one site in the inclement weather Wednesday we just decided to leave for Edmonton . It is a well kept Park
