We enjoyed this campground. Unfortunately, the RV spaces are very close together and the electric hookup didn't always work. The neighbors were also using our outlets because they didn't have enough. This would not be possible if the site were further apart. It was unusually warm this weekend and the park was very full. It didn't seem like they were able to keep up with keeping the bathroom and showers clean. The bathrooms were warm and the showers did have decent water pressure. There are several activities set up for people (volleyball, basketball court - although after the first night we were there, it was locked and could not be used) and smaller activities for younger kids. Overall, a decent stay for us since we had a weekend full of plans with family, so we didn't have to spend much time there. One thing that I will mention was the cost to lock in your site. It was an extra $5 optional cost. It was a bit worrying that they say they guarantee the site but also reserve the right to move you if they choose to. I have never seen this at any other site we have stayed at. So a decent stay, and would stay again if our preferred sites are already full.

I chose my spot based on proximity to the restroom, just to find out the closed restroom was closed for the season. I guess that makes sense in the off season, but it was May… park was fine otherwise.

from the time we arrived, Rusty the camp owner graciously showed me all around the campground. He made sure that we had plenty of firewood which was super nice! We went fishing but didn't catch. It rained all day Saturday but we still had a great time. In fact we are coming back on the 4th of July. The bathrooms and showers are clean and plenty of hot water. Well worth the stay.
