Tired of having to leave your horse at home while you go camping? Well now, you don't have to! Camp McClellan Horse Trails Campground provides more than 55 rock-based surfaced sites that offer 30 AMP electric service.
Both you and your horse can enjoy over 900 acres of pristine forest with more than 30 miles of dry trails and roads that roam through the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and the best part... these breathtaking views can be enjoyed all year round.
The campground has a 31 stall barn with 10 x 10 stalls that guests can reserve and utilize or they can bring their own Highline for horse accommodations at their campsite. Book your spot today!

Featuring reliable 30-amp electric and fresh water hookups, you can easily power up and relax the moment you park. Tucked into our welcoming, family-friendly campground, these sites provide a cozy basecamp for making lasting memories—and yes, your horses are always welcome to join the fun! Bringing your horse along? Let's get them settled! 🐴 When reserving your campsite, simply select the Horse Stall site type, and you’ll be able to hand-pick the perfect spot for your horse directly from our interactive map. Please note when booking, the blue sites are the stalls that are available at that time, white is booked. Want to add a little extra comfort?
