Welcome to Camp McClellan Horse Trails Campground! Thank you for following our rules and helping us make this a great destination for everyone! By riding and staying with us you are agreeing to the rules as stated below:

Trail Rules:

  • Equine only and equine with wagons on designated trails.
  • Nature Walking and Hiking visitors use the "Sassy Tail Success Trails" at the south end of Camp McClellan Horse Trails. Future plans to expand trails for walking and hiking by end of 2024.
  • Anyone walking or hiking on premises MUST yield to horses.  
  • No bikes or dogs.
  • No alcohol.

Campground Rules:

  • Check in time is 1PM and Check out time is 11AM.
  • All dogs MUST be on leashes or tethered to your campsite NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Alcohol beverages in cups or covered, nothing visible in campground.
  • Campfires in rock circles or metal fire rings only.
  • Be courtesy to other guests.
  • Clean your campsite before leaving.
  • Clean high tie area by disposing of hay and manure in muck buckets provided and sit by road for removal. prior to departure
  • Take all trash to the dumpster on site.
  • No bicycles or small motorized vehicles in campground.

Barn Rules:

  • Check in time is 1PM and Check out time is 11AM.
  • No smoking in barn.
  • Only one equine per stall and shavings are recommended in stalls (shavings are available at the camp store).
  • Completely strip stall of manure and all shavings before leaving, put manure in designated area.
  • Do not tie an equine to any part of the barn.
  • Close and secure stall doors to prevent damage to hinges.
  • Turn water off at spigot after each use.
  • Do not empty water buckets in stalls or on barn floor.
  • Wheelbarrow and tools provided, take all trash to dumpster on site.
  • If you break something, please make a donation to cover the cost of repair.

Arena:

  • Pleae keep gates closed at all times.
  • Turn out time in the arena for equines should be limited to 15 minutes.

Camp McClellan Horse Trails Campground, Camp McClellan Horse Trails, Calhoun County, BCHA McClellan Chapter and any of its affiliates are not responsible for any "Act of Nature" and any damage it may inflict.                                                                              

 

​​​Cancellation Policy:

As excited as we are for you to join us, we do understand that cancellations do sometimes occur. If you do need to cancel your reservation, please be aware of the following policies. For assistance contact 256-954-1623.

Cancellations made less than 5 days prior to arrival date will receive a 25% refund. 

Cancellations made 5 days or more prior to arrival date will receive a full refund minus a $10 cancellation fee.
