This campground was a pleasant surprise. It had nice shade on one side of the park and the bathrooms were clean. The best surprise was the free laundry! Only one washer and dryer but so nice!!! It’s basically a big circular road with tents on the inner circle and RVs on the outside of the road. There is the river and access to it right next to the campground. It has a boardwalk out onto the river. With a parking lot next to it. There wasn’t a lot of people there but there was a lot of traffic. Someone leaving and coming every day we were there. All reservation and check in is online only. There is no personnel onsite. I did see a sign that said the area is under surveillance by neighborhood watch. And I saw a police officer drive by so it felt nice and safe. The power is the one thing we had a problem with. On site number 10. The 50amp didn’t work for us so we used the 30amp. It was a great experience for our family and dog. It was a nice location to venture out and explore around areas. The power is the one thing we had a problem with. On site number 10. The 50amp didn’t work for us so we used the 30amp.
