It was more than I expected! Great place, clean, serene, the greenery, great bathrooms for a campground! Simple, clean, cute bathrooms. The campers are helpful, the staff at the place, they are amazing, they serve gladly with a smile. Camped for a single night, it was perfect. The site is beautiful and also just 2 minute drive to the Catawba Falls trail. Could sing about this campground entire day...💕

WOW what an amazing site with the most friendly hosts! We already booked it again for next weekend.

Campsite was shaded and not far from the bathhouse. It was a little noisy with the traffic at times but it was constant. The sites are a little close but we were camping with friends next to us so not a problem. It was in walking distance to the Catawba Falls Trail! Bathrooms were clean. The hosts were very nice and attentive. Wish there was a clothesline and cement tent pads but it was a nice stay.

Quiet, pleasant atmosphere with a small site right by a creek. Also, just a 1/2 mile from Catawba Falls.

Our picnic table was rotting away, when we mentioned it then the owner he asked if I could drive my truck to another campsite to pick up a new table and bring it to my site because he couldn't do it. Needless to say we did not have an adequate table to use at the site. The sites themselves were very tight and close to each other. Absolutely no privacy, had to whisper to each other to talk. Our site had broken glass and broken tiles all over the ground. Bathrooms were clean and that's the only real positive thing I can say about this camp ground. We decided to leave our trip early. Would not recommend if you are looking for a true camp experience.

Great location and amenities i.e. general store, toilets, shower and playground. Owners are very nice. We got rained out, ha!

We were helped to our spot even though it was after hours. We had the most beautiful, babbling brook behind our trailer that lulled the kids right to sleep at night and was so peaceful to have coffee by in the morning. Fairly level, clean gravel site. We loved this little oasis!

I haven’t stayed here in 12 years but I am so happy I came back! Beautiful campground situated right on the river & the sounds of the river are so peaceful. The family who owns it is amazing & make the experience a million times better. Kim was so helpful at answering all of my questions before we booked & Rick & “Dad” took great of us while we were there. Bathhouse is clean & the camp store has ice, firewood, and all the little things you may have forgotten. (Along w/ a little coffee shop where we grabbed iced coffees then sat our chairs in the river to enjoy them!) Short walk to Catawba Falls trailhead & only 5 mins from downtown Old Fort. Amazing camping weekend & we will be back as soon as possible!!

My favorite campground of all campgrounds!

The creek was great, bathrooms clean but campsites way to close to each other. Sewer hookups just a few feet from our picnic table.

It was clean and had everything we needed! We will absolutely return! Thank you for your kind and wonderful service!

Campground was very nice and peaceful. There is a stream running right through the grounds which was really nice. Very close to the Catawba falls trailhead

The campground is terrific and the trailer sites are ideally located. Sitting in the campsite watching and listening to the water flow by is special. We especially liked being so close to the Catawba Falls park and hiking up to the upper falls on the newly improved trail and then returning by the Ridge trail. It is also within a 30 min drive of downtown Asheville, so day trips into the city are easy.
