They accommodated our later arrival time; the cottage was clean and tidy; the cottage had all the amenities you'd need for a nice weekend getaway; I noticed two things during our stay that could be improved: 1) is the maintenance of the carbon monoxide/fire alarm detector. When we arrived, the detector notified us that it was running low on power. While we e-mailed Cedar Valley about this issue, no one from management came through or checked on us over the weekend. I suggest having an off-hours line for renters to call for non-emergency things; 2) This is fairly minor, but I noticed a build-up of pink gunk around the toilet water, indicating that the toilet has not been scrubbed for some time. While the bathroom was generally clean, it could use just a tad more care. If you have any disagreements with any of the above reviews I gave, please contact me directly, I'd be happy to share my time-stamped documentation for your reference.

Start the morning with Zoo to You from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, enjoy a Classic Car Show by owners from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and end the day with live music from the Pepper Shakers, an 80s-themed band, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. With animals, classic cars, and great music, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Classic Car Show time may be adjusted closer to the event. Weather permitting.

    Shaney turns storeytelling into a fun experience for younger children. Become part of the adventure with movement, laughter and lots of audience participation.

    Join us on August 15 for a fun-filled Kids Day at the resort. Younger guests can enjoy face painting and a small kids' fishing derby from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by teen basketball games and a pizza event from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It’s a great day of activities designed for kids and teens to get involved, have fun, and make summer memories. Weather permitting.
