Fantastic place but obviously busy on the long weekend. Hosts are tip notch! Well done, and tks for accommodating us.

Third time is a cheam… sorry, charm…

Arrival was rather easy but very basic facilities and very rough layout of dry camping sites

Staff were very friendly, and helpful. Outhouses were clean.

Was great site on river

Quiet place! Beautiful surroundings with the Fraser river and mountains all around.

Calm camping and charming view of the Fraser river. Through, we would have appreciated sewers on site.

It was a great little spot with a perfect river view🤩. Will come again.

Good costumer service

It was a busy weekend and a beautiful place to camp . The new camp host is very strict .

Was in the ‘tenting’ section, which was a giant field of dried out grass with a playground, some randomly placed logs and a porta-potty across from the tenting spots, none of which were marked or numbered. I had no idea which site was mine, as there were just some picnic tables along the road. Not well maintained; garbage bin full, porta-potty full (& disgusting). The coin operated “showers” was an outbuilding with one shower, no shower curtain and a sink with a tap that wasn’t properly installed; when you go to turn the tap on it jiggled all over and could be pulled out a couple of inches, two hands were needed to turn it on - one hand to hold the tap in place and the other to turn it in. So other than the shower building, there was nowhere to wash hands or brush teeth; no water taps to be found unless you went to the serviced sites by the river. Nice views down there, but the sites themselves were just dirt spaces with water and power hookups and a picnic table. At least they were numbered; I had no idea where my site was, as they weren’t numbered, there wasn’t a map or signs to help with locating the sites and no one there to ask. I also called the number on the website for some help, but couldn’t reach an actual person. Fortunately I was there for only one night on route, but certainly won’t be staying there ever again, and for $38/night I certainly wouldn’t recommend.

This campground has practically nothing to offer especially for the price ! They were rude to us at the check in. They said quiet time at 10pm, however this is not enforced the people a few sites down from were loud and obnoxious every second word was “F#*k” which is not child friendly. The little playground did not look safe to be play in. The porta potties were disgusting, someone must of been throwing up in the one by our site so when we opened the door the smell almost knocked you over. I would not recommend staying here and would Not stay there again

While amenities for tent camping were very rustic and quarters were close (portable toilets, a coin operated shower house, and tight spacing between sites), river access made for a fun time exploring. Sandy beach at the boat launch was fun to play in. You could also rent stationed RVs and even a geodesic dome if you wanted.

This campsite is only ok if you wanna camp by Fraser River one in your lifetime. Campsite has water pipe and power but so unusable in a way you prefer not to use it. It has no amenities at all. Only a place to park and that’s it. My last experience with them 👎

We just got back from 2 nights at Cheam Fishing Campground. We were camping in tents. The pros: The host, Wes, was super welcoming, friendly, and hospitable. He does an excellent job of keeping the place clean and orderly. He's approachable and helpful and has a lovely dog. There are gorgeous, crystalline, shady swimming holes just around the corner. They reminded me of swimming in cenotes in Mexico. Lovely. We found one with a sand/clay bottom, warm water, pretty little minnows, and beautiful smooth rocks all around. This was my favourite feature of the campsite. There are frolicking bunnies at dusk and dawn--tons of them. It was a delight to watch bunnies chasing and playing while we had dinner and breakfast. Also, easy to find, well marked, mostly clean, and easy access to a town. The cons: The amenities are minimal. If I ran the place, I would add a trailer of 'indoor' washrooms, sinks, and showers. There was just one coin-op shower, with the only sink in the same room. So if someone was in the shower, everyone else had to wait to get water for dishes, or to brush teeth. There was nowhere to dump dish water. And the toilets were just port-a-potties, which were as gross and stinky as all port-a-potties inevitably get: the fumes were truly noxious in the heat. Finally, the tent sites are all side by side on a big, flat lawn, which has the feel of camping in a big parking lot. There was no daytime shade, and no buffers between sites. The unfiltered sun was crazy hot, especially in the tent, starting at 6am. And you can hear everyone on all sides, all the time. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to plant a few trees between each tent site to create some separation and shade. This would lead to a much prettier, more natural ambience and reduce the heat and noise issues. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and enjoyed the pros much more than we minded the cons. I have a feeling that it's a perfect place for RV's, with all the hook-ups etc, and an excellent place for fishing. But since neither of those things applied to us, I can only guess.

The site manager was extremely supportive. We enjoyed our stay. The only downside for us would be the condition of the portal potty stands.

Good site and friendly customer service. Not very much privacy or amenities, dirty bathrooms and little to no swimming opportunities.

Our stay was great!!! Hosts so friendly and helpful. They moved router so I could work during my stay, a very rare thing, I was very pleasantly surprised. Have recommended to many friends and families, local and out of town Will be back soon!
