The camp itself could use to be upgraded but they were clean and taken care of. BUT IT ONLY GETS A FIVE STAR DUE TO THE CARETAKERS/WORKERS!! THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE ABOUT THE SURROUNDING AREA AND WILDLIFE. WERE ALSO KID FRIENDLY. HAD A GREAT STAY!!!

Just an average stay. Puncture vine or goathead weed was pretty bad around the campsite. Hardest for the dog. Constantly getting burrs in her feet

For a rustic cabin it was ok. The air conditioner worked well and needed to since it was 89° outside.

Only saw 2 spiders and 1 very large beetle so instead of calling it Spider Island, I guess the name needs changed to Puncturevine Island. Everything that was green, was either puncturevine or clover (mostly puncturevine though). Most of the grass areas were dead, and if it wasn't yellow from being dead, it was all puncturevine. This was a beautiful campground when we had a family reunion there 20yrs ago and it could be again if it was actually taken care of. I didn't use the shower or the bathroom in the campground because I was warned by other campers to not use them.

Everything is so dry out there though. I love this place, it is relaxing. My dog walking through goat heads, no grassy area for him lay. We will definitely be back

Spiders chased our guests away. The park has the potential to be a beautiful and fun stay. Unfortunately, between the goat heads and the spiders, it was very disappointing.

We have stayed at Chief Timothy during the same time for the last 31 years. Our stay has always been very enjoyable. The Camp Host and the employees are always very nice and very helpful. The park in general needs some TLC. The grounds are in grave need of weed control, new seeded grass and water. It seems as though, since the park is an Islam in the middle of the Snake River that this could be accomplished. It certainly isn’t for the lack of trying on the employees part. They are watering and mowing as best as they are able and have the working sprinklers to do so. Just a thought that needs some pondering by the owners. The park was once “breathtaking” and could be so again with a little bit of that TLC.

Lawns dry, with goat heads. Toilets difficult to flush and not all stocked with toilet paper.
