Citrus Gardens — Reviews

There was no staff to check in to receive directions to site…they work minimal hours and days. No one to provide codes to amenities on weekends. I left 4 messages for staff to return my call regarding check in time during week but never received a return call. Fortunately I wrote the site number down when I made the reservation so we just found our way to the site which was not easy. This is a huge 55 plus community that expands about 4 blocks. I finally went to the office after the 3rd day to express my irritation with the lack of communication. The manager was apologetic and said they have an issue with the messages being left. The park and amenities were very well kept and nice but if they are going to rent spots to campers they need to develop a system to communicate to campers because when travelers arrive at a campground, they need a little direction and codes to the amenities in the event the office is closed.

Amazing. Even though its a 55 and older community. They still let my family and I stay.

Great place !!

We arrived around 830 at night. Someone had parked a vehicle from the adjacent lot in our space we rented. We had to go to an empty lot(thankfully one was available)...this lot did not accommodate our power needs. We had to run an extension cord to our original spot we rented in order to get power. We were also not given a code to the bathroom/shower area so we weren't able to use the facilities while there. It was also extremely difficult to locate the RV area. We were approached by other renters in the RV park who were also displaced from their rented spots. Very disappointed.

We love it!! We only stayed one night but it was so peaceful and relaxing..

This is a very nice park, that recently opened up spaces for RV’s. They have yet to make a system for last minute weekend registrations, but they will. The weekend staff, which is a camp host and a maintenance man are super!!! We will be back, hopefully they will have their system for last minute weekend registrations done over the internet down by then.
