The staff here were very friendly and helpful, and the shared facilities were clean and well-kept. The bathrooms and porta-potty were in much better condition than I was expecting given the other reviews I read here. The biggest issue we had was with our site itself. We rented a lodging site that was supposed to be a "glamping" tent, but that name is misleading and should be changed. The tent we were renting had broken zippers and did not fully close, where the door was supposed to connect to the floor was ripped, and the netting covering the door was ripped and taped together. It was not what I was expecting giving that I was paying for a "glamping" experience. While the staff was friendly and helpful in helping us to find a solution to make sure the doors stayed shut, this is definitely something the management company should have contacted us about when they found out about it so that we could decide whether to keep our reservation or not, or to ask for a different site. Very poor communication on their end. We also had a generally bad experience trying to communicate with the campground prior to arriving because we had to go through a centralized call center for the management company rather than being able to contact the campground itself. The dog park was a nice touch that our pup really enjoyed. People were respectful about it and seemed to clean up after their dogs. We had a pretty good experience taking our pup camping here for the first time, although several of the other guests staying near us did not respect the on-leash rules at the camp sites. Two things that could be a plus or minus depending on what you're looking for: 1) the campground is very close to a town and directly next to other residences, which made the experience feel very not-remote and frequently noisy as residents nearby don't have to follow the quiet hours rules, and 2) it's family friendly and therefore was very noisy throughout the day, although for the most part people at the campgrounds followed the quiet hours. Personally, it was a bit more boisterous than I was expecting for a camping experience.

The site was small but because I went on a non weekend there was no one in the sites next to mine to be honest I was the only camper in my section. The camp store didn’t have much to offer so I had to drive to the nearest town to get the few things I forgot. All in all it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. Just OK

⭐ Crows Nest Campground – A Rare Find for Campers Who Want It All We’ve been camping for years, and it’s hard to find a place that truly checks every box on your camping wishlist. But Crows Nest Campground came close for us. Our trailer site was right by the river, the community was respectful and actually followed quiet hours, and the staff was friendly. The bathrooms were clean, and the whole place felt peaceful. But the biggest surprise was the reliable Wi‑Fi — I was able to work remotely the entire time while still enjoying nature. My boyfriend is a fly fisherman, and he loved the pond. He was out there every morning and every evening, happily doing catch‑and‑release in a quiet, beautiful spot. If I had to mention one downside, it’s that while the campground has plenty of amenities, some of them are a bit outdated. But nothing that took away from the experience. Overall, Crows Nest gave us the perfect mix of nature, comfort, and community — and we can’t wait to go back.
