Located right on the Trinity River scenic views are guaranteed and guests have access to fishing, rafting, and other water activities.

    Tucked away from the main road, our 30-amp RV sites offer a quieter, more secluded setting, with plenty of shade and privacy. Though peacefully situated, they’re just a short walk through the trees to the park’s facilities, pool, and central area. Sites L, M, and N are especially close to the river, with easy access to the sandy beach. A back road also provides convenient access to the store at the front of the property. Sites are back-in, except for site N, which is pull-in. These are not pull-through sites; sites 35, 36, and G offer pull-through access. Electricity is billed separately at $0.40 per kWh, based on meter readings.

    Perched just above the river’s edge, these RV sites offer lovely views and the soothing sounds of rushing water below. Trails wind down to the rocky riverbank, while the sandy beach is just a short walk upstream. You can also drive and park near the beach if you prefer. Sites 37 and 38 are back-in sites, while sites O and P are pull-in only, with hookups on the opposite side from the usual setup. Please note that none of these sites are pull-through; sites 35, 36, and G offer pull-through access. Electricity is billed separately at $0.40 per kWh, based on meter readings.

    We offer three pull-through sites that are ideal for larger RVs and easier arrival: sites 35 and 36 along the river, and site G near the pool.     This shaded, riverside Glamping Tent is an overflow site tucked into the trees and placed on the ground (no wood platform). It has a double bed with linens and a battery-powered fan & lighting. It does not have electricity or a fire pit. Sturdy cots, sleeping bags, and a full-sized Weber charcoal grill are available upon request, subject to availability. There is no fire pit and no campfires are allowed at this site. This site is about 500 feet from the restrooms and swimming pool, and 250 yards from the river beach. There is ample space for parking and additional tents can be set up in a nearby open space next to vehicles.

    The new owners have done a great job of cleaning up the place and have made some improvements. The staff is hardworking too.

    Unfortunately our quick stay was pretty disappointing. We arrived at 5:10 and the store/check in area was closed. We planned to buy a few dinner items and get a cot when we got there, so both those options were now unavailable. We found a handyman who told us where we could find our tent. He was friendly but couldn't do much to help us. When we booked our site it stated that it included lighting and a battery powered fan. It had neither. When bedtime came, we got into bed and I quickly realized my pillow had dried saliva on it (unfortunately I smelled it before I saw it). We checked the other pillows and one other pillow had saliva on it as well. We then pulled back the bedding. The linens were not clean. This was frankly just gross. So we slept on dirty linens for the night, and left as soon as the morning came. I have no idea why we paid over $30 for cleaning when it wasn't done. I text the number provided about our issues, and never received a response.
