The bathrooms were not in good condition. The doors on the womens stalls would either not close or you had to slam it closed. The shower was awful...dirty and the handle was broken. The sites were big and it was so peaceful and quiet.

We gave this rating due to the restrooms. They need updating so badly! The doors have no locks on them. in women's bathroom near the beach. The faucets on the men's side, by the beach restroom, need to be replaced. The restroom at the top of the hill, had NO soap in the men's side. The driveway on our lot could use some repair. Also, when we pulled in, our firepit had not been cleaned. There were cans, cig butts around outside of ring. We have been here many times before and we have always enjoyed our stay at Douglas Headwaters. It seems as things are not being cared for as they were in the past years.

Grass and weeds are bad around the sites. Love being next to lake but weeds and stuff around the trees at lake restrict the view of the lake. And where trees have been cut down the 50 amp sites hardly have any shade. That makes it very hot.

The campground was very well maintained, the camp hosts were courteous and very helpful, and the bath house was very clean. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this campground anytime.

We love camping at Douglas Headwaters. We have been coming here for 3years this year. We have 4 more trips there this year. Everyone is always so nice. We love being able to look at the lake and kayak on it.

The bathhouse at the swim area need some TLC. I don't understand why the dump station at both headwaters and tailwaters is so inconvenient. You have to do a U turn to use them.
