Once again the details and descriptions were completely false. “primitive” is not at all primitive in any way, shape, or form. Also, no site control. The sites surrounding us had more than 5 tents and 4 cars per spot, blaring music and loud screaming children the entire time. Incredibly disappointing. We will not be returning. This place has great potential but unfortunately money hungry for reservations and lack of site control and regulation making this yet another “family” campground doting awesome kid amenities just to shove people on top of each other. Having a child on the spectrum ourselves camping is one of the few things we can do that don’t overstimulate her and we continue to book these “family primitive” spots just to be surrounded and hearing more then we would if we were at home in the suburbs.

Friendly people, clean restrooms and a great setup

The site sizes are not big rv friendly, we had a terrible time trying to back in our camper and it is only 33' long. The sites are very small, the site next to us was so close that there chairs were lined up next to our sewer hose. I will say the beach and lake area is nice and we really enjoyed that. The staff was very friendly.

Primitive site was perfectly set in the trees with lots of shade and convenient to all parts of the campground. Friendly staff, very clean and well kept, beautiful area. We’ll be back!

It was just great to get for the 1st time this year with our new 5th wheel camper, and got to spend time with our neighbors as well. It is a nice place quit/friendly place to stay. Plan on going back this year.
