We were very impressed with what were for us, the new improvements around the park and campground. The sites were of good size and the paved access roads and parking pads were very nice. The laundry was a pleasant surprise as we had been on the road for almost three weeks and were in need of clean clothes! Other than walking down to the lake we did not use any of the amenities there. We were using the park as good place to camp while visiting relatives in Charlotte, so our time in the park was limited, but nice. The only hiccup, and it was minor, was the plumbers working on the sewer connection on the site next to ours, but we understood that the intent was to lower the connection, which does make a difference. All in all, a nice three night stay.
