Hadley's Point Campground — Reviews

Campsite was clean and very spacious. For once I didn’t feel like our neighbors were on top of us. The water pressure was strong and we had great showers! - so important on hot sticky summer days. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Located close to Acadia park, we had quick access to all the attractions, downtown Bar Harbor and to some of the best restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great campground…nice sites with excellent management and staff.

The campground was clean and well taken care of. The facilities were nice and up to date. The sites were small, but we spent so little time at the campground, it didn't matter to us. There was enough room to cook and hang out, but there was a large field across the road that the kids were able to play in instead. I also enjoyed quiet time ending at 700 am. It seemed most of the campers were up and going by then too. I will stay again next time I am in the Bar Harbor area.

This campground excels in location, cleanliness, and staff friendliness, making it a strong choice for visitors to Bar Harbor. The trolley access is a standout feature for easy exploration. However, the lack of space between sites, particularly in certain areas, is a notable drawback, impacting privacy . The B area seems preferable for a better camping experience. If you prioritize amenities and location over spacious sites, this campground is still a solid option.

Very convenient to Acadia. Updated camp office/ store and showers/rest rooms. Nice wooded camp sites. Friendly, helpful staff. Wi-Fi worked well.

The staff is super friendly and kind. Location is just minutes away from Acadia. Camping spots are very neat and clean. Quiet time is enforced so it’s very quiet and peaceful at night. Great prices on camp fire wood on locations. Bathrooms and showers are very clean and well taken care of. Have already stayed there twice this summer and definitely planning on staying there again. My new favorite campground in the area.

The campground was clean and the shower and toilet facilities were nice. Staff seemed nice and helpful. WIFI had decent coverage. Campstore had some essentials and souvenirs, but not a whole lot. Plenty of stores near by. Sites were on the small side, especially the premium pull thru sites. The sewer odor was very strong in the 'S' loop, strong enough to make us reconsider staying again. Pool was either not heated, or not working properly. Basketball goal has a bent room and no net.

It was awesome! The team is very nice, the camping is very clean. A lot of showers and restrooms. Near from hikes and stuff to visit. I highly recommend.

It was a great camping but it was a big camping, more of a small community all on vacation, you are close to you're neighbors and you will hear their conversation, but it is close to the essentials and it was the best we could find on such a short notices !
