Hadley's Point Campground — Reviews

It was so nice that I stayed an extra night. Super clean. I haven’t tried the showers or the pool but, also, super clean. 10/10 would recommend.

Hadley’s Point Campground is minutes from Acadia National Park which is why we went to Bar Harbor. The campground is very well maintained, the restrooms and showers were meticulous and the people working in the office were super helpful as this was our first time exploring Acadia. We didn’t have a chance to check out the whole campground but the area we were in had decent sized sites and we weren’t crowded at all (like some of the other campgrounds we saw). We’d definitely stay again!

Clean, organized, reasonable price$

Although the personnel were nice the sites are less than optimal. The sites were small and jammed in like an RV parking lot. I had some difficulty getting leveled as the sites were built up with gravel which shifted under the weight of the camper. Campers in adjacent sites also commented on the challenge getting level. This is also the first campground in a while that still charges for the showers.

Great facilities, nice camping spots, terrific location, and a nice shop onsite that’s open until 9PM.

The customer service was personable, nice people. The Laundromat was great, actually opened 24/7, wash was a little pricey $4 for 30 min wash, dryer $1.50 for 45 min. The showers amazing, water pressure the best with overhead rain showers at 50 cents for 7 min. Best 50 cents you'll ever spend. One thing they need to add is soap holders in the showers. The bathrooms was a bit of a downer. The floors almost always wet and looked dirty with hair etc. The bathrooms should be cleaned every 3 hours, bleached out, the sinks were too small, there was often a urine smell in them. The pool was 3/5, water not that warm, needs upgrade with a slide. Our spot A27 did not have a gravel walkway so we had to walk on the grass, and our fire pit was non existent. Overall, 4/5, sites had their own water access and electricity. Sewer disposal easy to access. Price competitive. Would consider booking again if bathrooms issues addressed.

Excellent facilities, clean, new and well maintained. Family friendly, but quiet and relaxing. Perfect jumping off point for Acadia Nat’l Park and Bar Harbour. Still felt like we were camping, lots of trees and privacy at our site.

Many barking dogs…but great neighbors

Easy check in process, well maintained facilities, quiet atmosphere, kind employees, and overall great experience. One thing that would be helpful is having towel hooks within reach of the showers (they are currently on the back of the door, out of reach).

Clean, very well-maintained campground. Friendly staff and fellow campers. Convenient local trolley stop at the campground, for going into Bar Harbor or to Acadia NP. Our site was wooded and spacious. Would definitely choose Hadley's Point Campground for future stays in the area, and recommend it to others.

We were greeted by warm and friendly staff and the property was beautiful. Clean new showers and bathrooms, easy to catch the shuttle to wherever you want to go in Acadia. We will be back!

Campground staff were wonderful, had all the info we needed, were helpful and the grounds were clean and well kept. Awesome campground, we look forward to visiting again!

Clean, Easy Check In, Great Amenities, Caring, Polite, and responsive staff. We checked in after hours. The front desk had called and given us instructions of where to go and everything we needed to check in after hours. Excellent stay.

A beautiful, very well maintained campground, and we have stayed at many throughout the years. One of the best!
