Hadley's Point Campground — Reviews

We wish we could have stayed longer and definitely plan to come back! Every staff person we interacted with was very helpful and friendly, going above and beyond with service; the facilities were clean and newer; our site felt private and was convenient to bathrooms, showers, and water supply; and it's a great location. We walked to Hadley Point Beach and my son enjoyed the pool that was a bit too chilly for me. I also appreciated the vibe when we were there; some campgrounds I've stayed at have been loud and had Lord of the Flies packs of children out of control but this felt family friendly, with kids riding bikes and people driving slowly. Even the camp store prices were reasonable, rather than gouging for forgotten or last minute necessities.

Lovely location with bus stop for everywhere! The public beach down the road was a highlight.

Great place with lovely and welcoming staff! Sites are super cozy, bathrooms and showers are super clean with hot water. Quiet hours start at 10pm-sunrise. Some basic things such as snacks and a few camping necessities along with merchandise are sold at the office along with ice bags and bundles of wood. Didn’t go in the heated pool but seemed like other guests really enjoyed it. Would definitely stay again to camp there. It really was a very nice place to stay!

The staff was very nice upon arrival and made check in easy. Our spot was quiet and had a good amount of shade. The pool was perfect after a long day hiking Acadia.

Super friendly and helpful upon check in, everyone respected quiet hours. 10-15 minute drive to the park entrance and downtown Bar Harbor. Bathroom/shower facilities clean and nice. Beautiful beach for sunset and sunrise just down the road. Perfect spot!

Exceptionally clean and well maintained facilities and grounds. Staff is very helpful and pleasant. I had two very peaceful nights, and would book again!

Campsite B42 was clean, spacious and wooded. The bathrooms and showers were beyond clean. Didn't use, but pool was heated and looked very nice. Check in was smooth and the price was much less than other locations. Location to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor was about 15 to 20 minutes. Perfect for what we were looking for

Hadley’s was very well managed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It had very nice facilities and was quite quiet.

Our 12 year old was very disappointed that the pool wasn’t open yet (we would have booked elsewhere if known). The morning after arriving, my girlfriend went to take a shower at the campground showers, and no hot water. That was unexpected as the shower facilities are the best I’ve seen in a campground. Also, there were no activities or entertainment going on for kids or adults. Just quiet and dull. No camp store for food items or emergency RV supplies either. First campground I have encountered this. Overall, it’s a beautiful facility. Just a few things could have been better.

This was our first time tent camping since children. It was so wonderful. The campsites were great and staff was very helpful
