Hartt Island RV Resort – Terms & Conditions

Season Dates – The 2026 camping season runs from May 15th to October 15th. The Waterpark is open from June 19th to September 7th.

Check-In & Check-Out – Check-in is at 1:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

Office Hours – 9 AM to 10 PM

Quiet Hours – From 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please keep noise and bright lights to a minimum.

Payment & Reservations – A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be automatically billed 7 days before check-in. Please note that all reservations must be paid in full by check-in. We reserve the right to process any outstanding balances using the payment method provided at the time of booking. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially for weekends and holidays.

Lock Site Fee – While you may request a specific campsite, this is not guaranteed unless the applicable lock fee is paid. Without the lock fee, your selected site type is guaranteed, but not the exact site number.

Amenities – Hartt Island’s Waterpark and Mini Putt are not included in the base campsite rate. These areas are shared by campers and the local community. The camper rate is $10.00 +HST per person per day, which includes full access to the Waterpark and Mini Putt. Children 24 months and under are free. Booking online in advance is required to receive the discounted camper rate.

Wristbands – Pre-purchased wristbands are distributed at check-in for quick and easy entry. Wristband colours change daily and will be checked at the pool deck.

Waterpark Rules –

  • Open during peak season from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, subject to lifeguard discretion.

  • May close for health or safety reasons.

  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Swim diapers are required for babies under 2.

  • The green slide is limited to children under 42” for safety reasons.

Mini Putt – Open during office hours. Putters and balls are available at the office. Children must be supervised. Destructive behaviour toward campground property is prohibited.

Site Limits – Campsite rates are based on four people aged 3 and older. Maximum occupancy is six people and one camping unit per site. Only registered guests may stay overnight.

Visitors – Visitors are welcome but must park in public parking and leave by 4:00 PM. Overnight or extended stays require an additional $10.00 +HST per guest, per night.

Campfires – Campfires are permitted only in provided fire rings or propane fire pits and must remain under control (maximum 18 inches flame height). Fires must be fully extinguished when unattended. Fire regulations follow Fredericton Fire Department policies. Notices will be posted during fire bans.

Vehicles & Speed Limit – All vehicles must fit within the designated campsite. Overflow parking is available at no extra charge. The campground speed limit is 10 km/h.

Bicycles & Recreational Vehicles – Guests may bring bicycles, e-bikes, and electric scooters.

  • Riding is not allowed after dark.

  • Helmets must be worn at all times.

  • ATVs, dirt bikes, and other off-road motorized vehicles are strictly prohibited.

  • Hartt Island is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Pet Policy – Pets are welcome but must be leashed at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Aggressive dogs or excessive barking are not permitted. Pets must not be left unattended for extended periods. No pets are allowed in or on the pool deck or in the washroom facilities. Dog walking is permitted on the nearby trail, on leash and under control.

Garbage & Recycling – Pickup occurs daily. Use designated bins for trash and recycling. Plastic and cardboard may be recycled at the office. Secure lids and do not leave coolers out overnight.

Children’s Safety – Children under 12 must be supervised at all times, especially near the dock, river, pool, Mini Putt, campfires, and playground areas. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult in high-risk areas.

Conduct – Guests must follow all campground rules. Management may remove anyone engaging in disruptive behaviour or harassment. Guests are responsible for their own actions and the actions of their children, pets, and visitors.

Prohibited Activities – Fireworks, firearms, personal golf carts, and other motorized recreational vehicles are not permitted.

Minimum Stay Requirements – During peak season (June 10th-September 7th):

  • NB Day weekend: Three-night minimum for all sites except pull-thru sites.

  • Two-night minimum on weekends for all sites except pull-thru sites.

  • No Saturday checkouts or check-ins are allowed during peak season to help accommodate weekend arrivals.

    • Pull-through and overflow sites excluded

Media & Photography – Hartt Island reserves the right to use photos or videos taken on-site for promotional purposes.

Dumping Station – Available for gray, black, and portable tanks. Vehicle washing is not permitted.

Boat Dock – Due to shoreline changes, the dock requires an extension for proper flotation.

Maintenance & Security – Report any maintenance or security issues to the office immediately.
