Always quiet and relaxing

Very family friendly and quiet!

Wonder family camp ground ! Everyone is nice and welcoming!!

What a beautiful campground this was! Nothing fancy but big spacious campsites on the water. Very quiet and family oriented. Fun golf cart trails through the woods made for some short mountain biking as well. Bathrooms were wheelchair accessible so well done with that! Just a great place for some respite from the chaos of everywhere else! Not a whole lot to do in a 30 mile radius of campground so come prepared for that, but with beauty and fishing right outside the door, we didn’t need that!

It was our first time this weekend. The lake is gorgeous and we saw a fox, herring, bald eagle and lots of fish jumping. My brother and I went to the camp store and was treated wonderfully and as family. We love the honesty and trust that was given. The shower and bathroom was good. We can hardly wait to take another trip there. We drove from St Augustine so that’s saying a lot.

Great campground. Fun for kids and great fishing.

Always friendly , clean and most enjoyable camping experience for family fun! Only place we want to camp!

I love Hester’s bottom.

We really enjoyed our stay the only thing we have to complain about is the ants. Before we left our camper and cars had ants in them.

Hester’s Bottom is a great place. Spacious campsites with lots of privacy. Bathhouses are clean and the general store is well stocked. Had a wonderful visit there and plan to return soon.

Great sites. Clean bathhouse. Good amenities. Solid WiFi signal.

We love staying here. The staff are really nice and helpful when needed.

Some sights too steep for larger rigs, sewer hook up would be nice

We loved the family friendly atmosphere at Hester’s Bottoms. It was quiet, clean and well laid out with flat camping areas. We enjoyed the game area at the bathhouse too. Lovely campground. We will be back.

2 Campsite next to us had 7 pickup trucks and at 5 am someone had an alarm going off for over 5 minutes Otherwise everything was well kept

Arrived at store for check in and met with a sign that read due to slow time of year you will need to call or text to be met for store to be open. No big deal, we had pre checked in on the website so we went to our site. Site was as described and level backed up to great views of the lake. Water pressure was an issue at one point, however was fixed right away by the camp host. Internet was available at each campsite, however dropped in and out the last two days. The bathhouse next to the store was not ADA compliant and I inquired with the staff and was told the other two are compliant and that one was going to be made compliant soon. Overall staff was great and our stay was nice. We will come back again.
