Terms & Conditions
Reservations
A 2-night minimum is required for all reservations. All reservations require payment in full at the time the reservation is made. Holiday Weekends have a 3 night minimum stay. Special Weekends consist of Harborfest (3rd Thursday + weekend in June), Blueberry Festival (2nd weekend in August), and Halloween (weekend's September & October), which are 2-night minimums.
*Please note if reservation made during our Black Friday Special - a 4-night minimum must be maintained to keep discount.
Occupancy
Must be 21 years of age to rent a Campsite, Lodging Unit or Golf Cart. Unless otherwise stated, Camping Rates are based on 2 adults and 4 children (children 4-17). Children ages 3 and under stay free; however, all occupants count toward the State Maximum of 8 persons per site, regardless of age.
Extra Adults/Children are $8/night if staying the entire time of the reservation. Guests that show up unannounced (not on reservation) or stay only part of the reservation time period will be $12/person.
Visitors
Having any friends or visitors that are coming to visit? Please prepay for them or let them know the cost of entering our park. Daily Visitor fee are $8/person unless it is a Special Weekend or Holiday than the fee is $12/person. Senior guests ages 65 & older are $5/person.
Only Registered Guests may enter the resort. Visitors have full amenity access starting at 9 AM and must depart by 10 PM. No new visitor entry is permitted after 8:30 PM.
Car Passes/Parking
All vehicles must have a car pass.
Only 1 car per site, please do not park on the grass. Extra cars must park in overflow. 2 vehicles are included in the reservation but not allowed to park on the site if there is not enough gravel to park on. Car Parking Passes for each additional car, trailer, or boat is $7.50/day.
We are NOT set up for EV charging at this time. If found charging your EV, there is a flat rate of $15/night for charging. You will be responsible for any damage to our electrical grid.
Golf Carts
No personal golf carts can be driven in the park. If you need a golf cart, we offer rentals.
Golf Cart Rental Terms & Conditions
Pick-Up & Return

Golf Carts may be picked up after 3:00 PM on the reservation date. Early pick-up may be requested, subject to availability, with an additional fee of $35 for 4-seaters and $50 for 6-seaters.

Golf Carts must be returned to the Registration Station by 1:00 PM on the departure date, in the same condition as received, except for ordinary wear.

Late returns are subject to a Late Departure Fee of $35 (4-seater) or $50 (6-seater).
Security & Damage
-
Guests are responsible for all costs and expenses for loss, theft, or damage to the golf cart or campground property while rented, including reasonable legal fees incurred by the park to collect amounts owed or enforce rights.

Guests shall indemnify and hold harmless South Haven Family Campground, LLC from any liability, including bodily injury and property damage, arising from use or operation of the golf cart by themselves or anyone operating the cart with their consent.
Eligibility
-
Renters and all operators must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license (no learner’s permits, mopeds, or temporary licenses).

Up to four wristbands will be issued to authorized operators and must be worn during rental.
Operating Rules
-
Maximum speed: 8 MPH
-
Operate golf carts only on designated roadways; no off-road use, racing, or reckless behavior.

Maximum passengers: 4, seated with all occupants properly on seats.
-
Golf carts must remain on campground property, not exceeding past the dumpster at the front drive.

Golf carts operated after sunset must have lights on. Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM; no driving during this time except for emergencies.
Safety & Conduct

No alcohol on or in the golf cart. Driving under the influence will result in immediate loss of rental privileges and no refund.

Report any accidents, malfunctions, injuries, or property damage immediately to management.

Parking: when not in use, park on gravel areas of your site, engage the brake, and remove the key. Do not park on grass or unauthorized areas.

Violations may result in immediate loss of rental privileges.

Legal & Liability

By renting, you accept full responsibility for safe operation and any consequences from use.

You assume all risk of injury or property damage, and release South Haven Jellystone Park™, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims or liability arising from golf cart use.

Rental fee refunds are not provided for early departures or misuse of the golf cart.
Quiet Hour
Our quiet hour begins at 11 pm and ends at 8 am in the morning. We ask all of our guests to RESPECT one another and do not expect to have fun at ANOTHER’s expense. If complaints are heard because of late night noise or partying, you could be asked to leave.
Guest Conduct & Behavior
Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, family-friendly, and safe manner at all times while on campground property.
Disorderly conduct, excessive noise, unsafe behavior, harassment, vandalism, failure to supervise minors, or failure to comply with campground rules, policies, or staff instructions may result in immediate removal from the property without refund.
Management reserves the right to refuse service or terminate any stay for behavior deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.
Fire Wood
We DO NOT allow wood to be brought into the facility. You must buy it on site. There will be a $20 Inconvenience fee if you choose to bring in wood and we have to bag it and place it in quarantine. We do allow processed wood (2x4's) or camp wood that is shrink wrapped with the USDA approved Kiln Dried Wood (must be intact and unopened).The campground several years ago, contributed to the Emerald Ash Borer infestation in the forest next to us. We offer bundles or crates of wood. Crates of wood are limited and have to be ordered ahead of time. If prohibited firewood is found in your vehicle, entry may be refused until the wood is removed or quarantined. Please inform the other people in your party. For more information, click here.
For those that prefer a crate of wood, you may call and order 48 hours prior to arrival. If a crate of wood is ordered within the 48 hours of arrival, there is an additional fee assessed. Wood Crates come in 2 sizes, Small (9-12 bundles) or Large (25-27 bundles) and are based on availability. Please note, Wood Crates are not covered for weather. If it rains before your stay, your wood may be wet.
Pet Policy
We allow all friendly pets to enter our campground, and all of our lodging units are pet-friendly as well. A $15.00 per pet, per night fee applies for pets staying in lodging accommodations.
For the safety and comfort of all guests:

Pets must be kept on a leash (6 ft or less) at all times unless in the designated dog park

All pet waste must be picked up, pet bag stations are conveniently located throughout the park

We offer a fenced dog park where pets may run off-leash; please continue to clean up after your pet while using this area

Pets are not permitted in any buildings, including bathrooms, shower facilities, or playgrounds
Pets should not be left unattended outside at your site if you are not present, for their safety and out of respect for other campers. For tent sites, pets may not be left unattended at the site or inside the tent without someone present.
Current, up-to-date immunization records must be available to show upon request.
Lock-In Sites
Site assignments are optimized using CampSpot’s grid optimization system. Specific site numbers are not guaranteed unless a Site Lock is purchased.

A Site Lock fee of $35 is required to guarantee a specific site number
Guests are not required to purchase a Site Lock. Without a Site Lock, the site type is guaranteed, not the specific site number.
Lost, Left or Stolen Items
Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort are not responsible for items that are lost or stolen. We are not responsible for items that are left here or for shipping items back. We encourage all guests to take inventory of their items so that they can take all items back with them. We will do our best to return items back to the original owners, however you would then be responsible for shipping and handling charges.
Damage, Loss & Excessive Cleaning
Guests are financially responsible for any damage, excessive cleaning, missing items, or loss to campsites, lodging units, golf carts, amenities, or campground property caused by themselves or any member of their party.
Additional charges may be applied to the credit card on file for repair, replacement, or cleaning costs, including labor. This includes, but is not limited to, smoke damage, pet damage, bodily fluids, trash removal, or misuse of amenities.
Activities and Bear Appearances
Daily activities and bear appearances are only from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Activities and bear appearances are always available on the weekends during our Spring and Fall time periods.
Amenities, Activities & Hours of Operation
All amenities, activities, bear appearances, attractions, food service locations, and operating hours are subject to change, modification, or cancellation at any time due to weather, staffing availability, maintenance needs, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond the control of Jellystone Park™ South Haven.
No refunds, credits, or rate adjustments will be issued for unavailable or modified amenities, activities, or services.
Go Green
If you elected to accept the GO GREEN rate, you are responsible for the electric that you use upon discharge. We do not sell electric, but we pass the usage onto you, the guest. When going green, there will be an additional $10 DEPOSIT added to your reservation for your electric consumption. If you use more than $10, you are responsible for that or if you use less than $10, the difference would be then refunded back to you. You must have a valid credit card on file.
We are NOT set up for EV charging at this time. If found charging your EV, there is a flat rate of $15/night for charging. You will be responsible for any damage to our electrical grid.
Additional Tent
Please know that a tent is NOT allowed on any lodging site. However a screen tent or easy up are allowed on lodging sites. Only 1 tent may be added to an RV site. If you already have a tent site, then a second tent may be added but there is a 2 tent limit on a tent site.
Cancelation*
Cancelations processed 7 days or more prior to arrival will result in a $25.00 cancelation fee.
Cancelations processed less than 7 days prior to arrival will be charged:
1-night site rental on Regular Rate Periods for each site/cabin/cottage/golf cart reserved
2-nights site rental on Special Time Periods for each site/cabin/cottage/golf cart reserved
3-nights site rental on Holiday Time Periods for each site/cabin/cottage/golf cart reserved
**If canceling reservation, please note that the Reservation/Resort fee is non-refundable. The charge is the software charge of making a reservation.
If you are within the 7 days of arrival and decide you want to change your dates to a different time frame you would be charged a $25 move fee. Please note that if you then decided to cancel those dates that were moved, you would then incur the original cancelation fee as per above and loose 1-3 nights based on your original booking period, in addition to the $25 move fee.
Weather/Early Departure
No refunds or credits are given for weather or early departure. The fun continues rain or shine!
Alcohol/Smoking
Alcohol can be used in moderation at your campsite with of-age adults. Minors in possession will not be tolerated. We are a family park, therefore if you get loud, drunk or act inappropriately you will be asked to leave. Illegal drugs or Marijuana (Medical or otherwise) will not be tolerated. Although it may be legal in Michigan, you are on private property and smoking marijuana is not allowed. No cigarette smoking allowed within 50 feet of any main building or in any lodging unit. If smoke is detected in a lodging unit, there will be a $150 cleaning fee assessed.
Force of Nature
Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort will not be liable for any change or cancelation of any reservation that is caused, in whole or in part, by events, occurrences, or causes beyond the control of Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort. Such events, occurrences, or causes include, without limitation, acts of God, terrorist activities, weather, strikes, lockouts, riots, acts of war, earthquake, fire and explosions.
The guest assumes all risks and danger incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoors environment including specifically (but not exclusively), the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities such as: field games or swimming at the Camp-Resort or being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions, and agrees that the Resort and its owners, agents and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Should you refuse to follow the procedures and policies during your stay, you may be asked to leave without refund. There are NO refunds for early departures.
Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission for the management of Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in South Haven to photograph a visitor while on the premises and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without any compensation to the visitor.
Except as expressly stated herein, no warranties or representations are made or exist concerning the lodging units or the campground facilities. I have read and understand all of the Rules, Terms and Conditions as set forth in this Camping Agreement.
Child Supervision
Parents and legal guardians are solely responsible for the supervision, safety, and behavior of their children at all times while on campground property.
The campground is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or incidents resulting from lack of supervision, misuse of amenities, or failure to follow posted rules.
Hot Tub Use & Safety Policy
To ensure a clean, safe, and enjoyable experience for all guests, please review and follow the Hot Tub guidelines below. Failure to comply may result in additional cleaning or damage fees.
Cleaning & Maintenance

The Hot Tub is fully serviced after every guest stay.
-
Excessive cleaning due to misuse will incur an additional charge of $25 per 15 minutes of labor.
-
If the Hot Tub requires draining and refilling during your stay due to overuse or pool-like behavior, a $150 service charge will apply.
Proper Use
-
This is a Hot Tub, not a pool. Overuse or rough activity will negatively affect water quality.
-
No diving, jumping, or horseplay is permitted.
-
No underwater swimming—hair can become entangled in drains, creating a significant safety hazard.
Personal Care & Product Restrictions
-
Guests must shower prior to use and ensure skin is free of lotions, oils, and perfumes.
-
Do not add any chemicals, soaps, bubble bath, or other substances to the water.
-
Introducing these items will clog filters and result in a minimum $150 drain and refill fee.
-
Pets
-
Pets are not permitted in or near the Hot Tub.
-
Evidence of pets in the Hot Tub will result in a $150 cleaning and refill fee due to filter contamination.
Supervision & Access
-
Children under 14 may use the Hot Tub only with a legal guardian present and supervising at all times.
-
The Hot Tub is for the use of registered guests only.
Approved Items & Attire
-
Only appropriate swimwear is allowed.
-
Do not bring toys, candles, washcloths, footwear, clothing cut-offs, or similar items into the Hot Tub. These may be drawn into the filter and cause damage.
-
No glass containers or food are permitted in or around the Hot Tub.
Safety Requirements
-
Do not use electrical appliances near the Hot Tub.
-
Do not remove the filter cover under any circumstances.
-
Do not sit or stand on the Hot Tub cover.
-
Replacement cost starts at $450.
-
-
The Hot Tub must remain covered and the gate locked when not in use.
-
Use caution when entering or exiting—surfaces may be slippery. Guests assume all responsibility for slip-and-fall risks.
Health Considerations
-
Individuals who are pregnant, have heart conditions, asthma, or other medical concerns should avoid Hot Tub use.
-
Alcohol use and certain medications may increase health risks—monitor your condition before entering.
-
Limit Hot Tub sessions to 20 minutes to avoid dizziness, nausea, or fainting.
-
If you experience irritation, coughing, or discomfort (possible sensitivity to chlorine or bromine), exit the Hot Tub and shower immediately.
-
Guests with open wounds, cuts, or external infections should not use the Hot Tub.
Capacity & Temperature

Maximum occupancy is 4 people at one time.
-
Check the water temperature before entering.
-
Notify staff immediately if you observe issues with water clarity, temperature, or if the water level drops below the skimmer.
Quiet Hours
-
Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
-
Loud talking, laughing, music, or disruptive behavior will not be permitted during this time.
Liability
Use of the Hot Tub is at your own risk. By using the Hot Tub, guests accept full responsibility for their safety and any consequences resulting from its use.
Management reserves the right to refuse service, revoke privileges, or remove any guest or visitor from the property without refund for violation of these Terms & Conditions, unsafe behavior, or failure to comply with campground policies.
