Kern River Sequoia RV Resort at Camp James — Reviews

The RV Resort was well maintained and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back.

Nice well maintained park.BBQ not useable as they are still making some repairs from the flood and the wristbands are an unnecessary nuisance. Other than that it was a great stay for the family.

Great campground right next to the river. We tent camped. We had two dogs and the dog park was great for them. Bathrooms very clean. Friendly staff.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at KRS! We checked out many other campgrounds while there and KRS beat them all by a milestone. We stayed rivers edge and loved our spot #89. Bathroom, showers, dump site, easy check in and out. Very well maintained campground!

It was a fun stay ....clean sites, lots of water ...we stayed at site 85 which was a waterfront campsite in which we had a repeat visitor that was a mallard duck . As far as the fishing it was not so great the water was very rough and even moving up and down the river we had no luck as the current was throwing everything off.

Great rv park! They keep the grounds very clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The river was peaceful. River front spots book out very quickly and are quite pricey. We stayed in 64 and enjoyed it. The creek wasn’t running behind our site like the map shows but the park was pretty empty as it’s March. There is a free dump station in the park and a great fenced in dog area. I would definitely stay here again.

The campground was peaceful and relaxing. The bathrooms were in need of a complete remodel, very outdated. The downside of our stay was that there were a group of campers next to us that all they seemed to be doing was smoking marijuana which for me the smell is nauseating.

Amenities were great. Campsite and campground was clean. Friendly staff and very helpful.

I rang the park to notify them I am running late and will arrive 10pm. I got told I will not be allowed in as its quite time. No refund was offered. Not even an apologie. Park was booked last-minute and only upon getting confirmation email was their a mention about 9pm check in curfew.
