KOKATOSI CAMPGROUND POLICIES
Thank you for choosing Kokatosi Campground for your vacation. We sincerely hope that all of our guests will have an enjoyable and memorable experience. In support of this, we ask our guests to review and abide by the policies below. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to speak with a staff member.
In case of emergency, please call 9-1-1 and provide your location as Kokatosi Campground, 635 Webbs Mills Rd, Raymond, ME and include your site number. If possible, advise campground staff, as we may be able to direct emergency personnel to your site.
For after-hours emergencies or urgent matters, please call 207-312-7471 to reach the on-call management team.
CAMPGROUND POLICIES
CAMPGROUND GATE: For the privacy of our guests, we have a gate located at the entrance of the campground. We will issue one gate card per site. Any lost or unreturned cards will result in a $25 fee.
SPEED LIMIT: Speed limit is 4.5 MPH throughout the entire campground. This includes golf carts. Pedestrians have the right or way, no exceptions.
ALCOHOL: Maine State Law prohibits the consumption of alcohol to anyone under the age of 21. Minors are not allowed to possess or drink alcoholic beverages at any time; this will be strictly enforced. For guests who are 21 and older, we ask that you keep all alcoholic beverages at your site only. Loud parties will not be tolerated.
SMOKING & VAPING: There is no smoking or Vaping in public buildings,
MARIJUANA: Per Maine State Law - smoking is public is not permitted.
FIREWORKS: Absolutely no use of fireworks within the campground. Sparklers are OK. Anyone using or possessing fireworks will be asked to leave without a refund. No exceptions.
CHILDREN: Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children. Young children must be supervised by an adult while using the playground, sports equipment, restrooms, showers & laundry. Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children. BEACH/WATERFRONT: We DO NOT provide a lifeguard; exercise precaution. Parents should supervise their children at all times. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed on the beach without parental supervision. The beach is closed after dark; no swimming after dark.
SITES; Must be at least 21 years of age to rent a site. One piece of camping equipment (i.e tent or camper) and family per site (2 adults and 4 children (under 18 years of age). Additional fees may apply for different size groups.
RENTALS:
- A credit card must be on file with each rental unit reservation.
- Rental units are expected to be in the same clean condition upon check out as they were at check in.
- A cleaning fee will be assessed if the unit is not clean.
- A $500 fee will be assessed if the unit shows signs that smoking has occurred.
- An applicable damage fee will be assessed if there are signs of damage beyond normal wear and tear.
- No tents (or extra camping unit) allowed on rental unit sites.
CAMPGROUND TREES & FIREWOOD: No one is to cut trees or branches - live or dead. Please do not drive nails into trees. Firewood is available for sale at the store. Don’t move firewood: “Buy Where You Burn.” This prevents the spread of insects from one location or state to another.
GENERATORS: Generator usage is not permitted at any time.
GRAY WATER & SEWAGE: State Law prohibits the discharge of gray water or sewage onto the ground.
PETS: Pets are allowed except in our trailer rentals. There is a pet fee of $5 per pet/per stay. Maximum of 2 pets per site. Pets must be on a 6 foot leash, under control & attended at all times. Pets are not to be left alone in a tent at any time. Owners must clean up after their pets & properly dispose of waste in proper trash receptacles that are provided around the campground. Excessive barking is not tolerated. Adults must be with children under 16 while walking pets. Pets are not allowed in any buildings, ballfield, playgrounds, or beach.
VISITORS: All visitors must check in & register at the office. Registered guests are responsible for guests. We also ask for a small fee for each visitor and these are listed in the rates. Day Visitors are asked to check out by 9:00 pm. Overnight Visitors are asked to check out by 10:00 am the next morning. Max of 8 persons per site including guests & visitors.
VEHICLE PARKING/CAR PASS: Only one vehicle per site is allowed. All other vehicles are asked to park in the parking lot located near the gate. All vehicles must have a car pass hanging from their rearview mirror so that we can identify all vehicles entering the campground.
GOLF CARTS: Golf Carts require a separate agreement and insurance. Please contact the office if you are planning to bring a golf cart with you during your stay. Driving with open alcoholic beverages is prohibited, as well driving impaired.
ATV'S & MOTORCYCLES: ATVs and motorcycles are not allowed past the campground gate.
BICYCLES & MOTORIZED CHILDREN'S VEHICLES All children are required to wear bicycle helmets while riding their bikes. Please make sure that all bicycles are on site before dark. We also ask you to please keep all children’s motorized vehicles on your site at all times.
LAUNDRY Laundry is open 24 hours. Please be respectful & do not leave your clothes in the washer or dryer. We are not responsible for damaged or lost items.
GARBAGE: We do not have garbage pick up at your site. Dumpsters are located in the parking lot for your convenience. No large, oversized items are to be put in our dumpsters.
EV CHARGING: Charging of electric vehicles is prohibited on the property.
CLOTHESLINES are not permitted.
RESTROOMS & SHOWERS: Children must be supervised when using the restrooms & showers. Please do not wash dishes in the restroom. Dishwashing sink is provided outside the bathhouse. We strive to maintain clean bathrooms, please do your part to help maintain the cleanliness. Please do not flush any foreign objects (diapers, feminine hygiene products, wipes) as they can clog the septic system.
QUIET TIME: Quiet hours are from 11pm – 8am. Please be mindful of your neighbors & keep noise levels to a minimum. Music, TV & voices should not be able to be heard beyond your campsite. You may be asked to leave if we need to speak with you regarding your noise level.
WIFI: WiFi is offered through a third party for a small fee. You can ask for instructions in the office.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT:
Check-in time is 2pm,. Please call the office on the day of your arrival to check availabilty. We do not have anywhere for you to wait if your site is not available!
Check-out time is 11am. The date on your car tag is the date you are scheduled to depart. You may not stay on the property to utilize any amenities beyond 11am. Late departures may result in additional fees. Please return your gate card at the office upon leaving.
CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellation After Arrival – No Refund
RV/Tent/Transient Sites:
Cancellation – (0-14 Days from reservation start date) – No Refund.
Cancellation – (15-30 Days from reservation start date) - Full Refund, minus a 25% cancellation fee on reservation total.
Cancellation – (31+ Days from reservation start date) - Full Refund, minus a 12% cancellation fee on reservation total.
Holiday Weekends:
No refunds on reservations canceled during a holiday weekend.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for injury or accidents to campers or their guests or for the loss of valuables of any kind. There will be no refunds given for early departures or due to inclement weather.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
The camper and all members of his/her group agree that in consideration of the rental (whether a campsite, general facility or equipment), Kokatosi Campground shall not be responsible for loss or damage to property, or injury to person, occurring in or around grounds owned by Kokatosi Campground, by reason of any existing or future condition, defect, matter, or thing on said lands or for acts, omissions or negligence of other persons or camper in or around the premises. The campers agree to indemnify and hold Kokatosi Campground harmless from all claims and liability for loss of or damages to property, or injury to persons occurring in or around the campground.
By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Kokatosi RV LLC, dba Kokatosi Campground for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Kokatosi Campground from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that The Kokatosi Campground may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. The Kokatosi Campground reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.
