Great spot, nicest people

The campground is well maintained. Level sites a beautiful little path down to the river and nice little touches all through the park. We’ve been there twice and we would go again.

This is a Beautiful campground. Every walk is a new discovery of little hidden things that make you smile. The owners Chris & Marcey are absolutely WONDERFUL. So kind and helpful. I booked an extra night . Would have stayed longer if it wasn't for the HEAT!!! I will definately book again and stay longer.

Great park. Chris and his team really work hard to keep the grounds clean and green. They also were super helpful with giving us ideas of amazing hikes in the area

Wonderful little hideaway, caringly kept in top shape by its owners who are very attentive and friendly to all guests. Clean, centrally located with awesome private river access. Would go back again.

Marcy and Chris are the BEST hosts!! The grounds and bathroom are so well taken care of and each year it gets better. My wife and I love staying at Kootenai River Campground and can’t wait to book our 2nd stay for 2026.

Marcie and Chris are so welcoming to their beautiful park, checking in often to ensure all was well during our stay. The park is well maintained and our site, 18, was perfectly level. It is a beautiful location with a short walk to the river for amazing views. We will definitely return to this lovely spot!

Lovely, quiet campground. Clean. Best hosts. This is going to be a yearly camping trip.

We had a delightful stay at this kitchy, clean and well groomed campground. It’s located on the scenic Kootenai river with endless hiking, biking and fishing opportunities- there’s even a very cool suspension (walking) bridge a few miles down the road! The owners were super nice, helpful and proud of the work they’ve put in to make this your little “home away from home”! 2 nights was definitely not enough…stay a week to unwind and explore this little slice of uncongested heaven!

Very comfortable campground. Owners were very friendly & quick to give you info about the area. Restrooms were one of the cleanest we have seen in our travels!

This is the best campsite we have stayed at in a long time. The hosts were incredible, we have two babies under 1 and it had everything we needed and more. We will be back very soon!

This place is awesome. It is so neat and clean. The staff was totally amazing and friendly and just great people. There’s a little playground for the kids to play on there’s access to the river we stayed in the tent site and it was beautiful. They have great fire rings and lots of shade . The stars were beautiful and can be seen perfectly there. Their bathroom always was clean and they have really cool decor at the camp office. I would definitely recommend and I will be going back!

The owners were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Guided us on events in town, swim areas and parks. Even hinted where to find huckleberries for the kids and our handicapped family member. 😉
