The owners were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Guided us on events in town, swim areas and parks. Even hinted where to find huckleberries for the kids and our handicapped family member. 😉

Friendly host. Noisy road. Beautiful river. Metallic water . Nice camp store. Sewer dump was higher than camper outlet making it difficult to dump so I didn’t.

Lovely place. Clean bathrooms. Great location, with a trail down to the Kootenai River. Had deer outside my door. Nice and quiet at night. There is a train but it didn’t bother me- and I need it quiet to sleep. People running the place are awesome. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful camping spot! Nice little walk to Kootenai River and there were tables & chairs to admire the surroundings! Nice play area for kids. You do have road noise and you can hear the train as well throughout the day, but it was very peaceful at night. The hosts were very attentive to your needs and managed a small store as well which provided us with a few items that we needed! Enjoyed our relaxing stay and we will return!

We had an amazing visit at kootenai river campground. Super spacious sites, clean bathrooms, camp store, river access, and the camp hosts were extremely helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area. You can tell a lot of care goes into the property. 10 out of 10 for our family!
