Good. Sink was out of order in the bathroom. But it happens. Other than that clean and beautiful facility.

The screened shelter was filthy. We had to go buy a broom because there were cigarettes, ashes and dried mud everywhere inside. We got there Friday and by that night the women’s bathroom was down to 1 stall. The other toilets were clogged. By Saturday evening the 1 stall that worked didn’t have toilet paper so you had to go in the nasty ones to get paper and there were no paper towels. Sunday late morning restroom finally got clean but still no paper towels by midafternoon the back 2 stalls were clogged again.

Campsites are to close together.. it was loud until after midnight. The electricity hook up was on wrong side

Site 24 at Lake Bonham was a great spacious spot with a view and lots of shade! Had a great time!

Beautiful setting with lake right there. A no wake zone so pretty quiet. Did have another group one spot down that had music on very loud but I called the camp phone number and it was taken care of in a matter of minutes.

Good: The park itself is as peaceful as described. The lake is a nice size and great for watercraft with well-kept piers and boat launches. Bad: Screened shelter, unclear fire protocols and very mid bathrooms. Screened Shelter 57 was in awful condition, with cut screens covered up with black garbage bags. The water hookup has no drainage, creating a muddy mess right next to the fire pit. The park attendant was friendly and offered us gas to start our fire, but after we set it, he told us to put it out and gave us a vague reason as to why. We were pretty confused as he’d just told to it was fine to light the fire. Overall, this is a really solid area, but I wouldn’t go just for camping. It’s best enjoyed if you have a canoe or a boat. Not a lot to do otherwise.
