great place well maintained..

The first two days were great, very relaxing, clean bathrooms, nice campsite. By the 2nd night (Fri), several cars were coming in and they were so loud from 11pm to 2:30 a.m. that I couldn't sleep. Campers were partying it up; blasting music, had car high beams on so they could set-up tents but it was directed at my campsite, and drinking (even though alcohol is banned). I'm sure they had a great time, but my family couldn't sleep and it was miserable so we left the next morning. Basically, we cut our camp trip short. I won't be coming back. This place is set up for campers that like to party all night. Not for those looking to relax with family.

Amazing time this is our third year going. It’s always a pleasure to be there.

a beautiful weekend in that place

It was a great location, the bathrooms I don’t blame the park, people just need to be really respectful and more clean. I couldn’t believe how much people use the bathroom and are very dirty about it. Like it’s ridiculous.

Everything was great except the Lake was at capacity and our fire pit/table were under water.

I really needed this small vacay from work… My experience was good I was able to have the convenienceto be by the restroom and the beautiful view of the water it was sooooo relaxing…

We were in an expensive large group site. Unfortunately, it was not well marked and a lot of people tried using it for day use swimming and fishing, as well as drove very fast through the area just looking around. We love the site and hope to use it again, but will request that the markings about it being a group site be clearer or that we be given permission to put the traffic arm up when we are in there so our group of kids are safer.

The lake was not very crowded and I pretty much had the next five or six camping spots free next to me so it was very quiet. Weather was great, you guys amenities like restrooms are really well kept, and overall the whole place was really maintained well.. the attendance of the main office that let me change. My room was very caring.

Roseville's Scout Troop 11 has been to Camanche for the past 3 years. We come to the lake to introduce our brand new Scouts to the Scouting life. We always enjoy Camanche. Campsites were clean and the sunsets were gorgeous!

The campsite next to us was extremely loud even after quiet time. They were playing music, yelling, and making excessive noise past midnight. We contacted the ranger on-call after hours but unfortunately he had truck issues and was unable to respond (by no fault of his own, we heard him drive by later, thank you to him).

First time camping in this place and I love it my family love it very clean bathroom and the stuff super nice I had a great experience coming back again hope to have the same experience

I definitely won't be camping back to this campsite. We had music playing at night loud enough for us to enjoy it. While the other campsites nearby were still awake, the rangers approached us in an unprofessional manner. Instead of addressing the situation calmly, they threatened us with a citation for trespassing if we didn't turn off the music. I was shocked by their tone and the threats they made. We had paid for three nights and left the next day. This behavior was unacceptable.
