This site was perfect for our family. The children (ages: 2yr-13yr) had such a great time. We will be returning annually and booking the same site. We had small issues with the ranger implementing the rules on our site and not the neighboring sites but as a whole the experience was AWESOME.

We had four campsite back to back to spend the time as a family after my son passed away in memory of him we got together to celebrate. Also the news of new baby coming this year ranger showed up a couple times making us feel ease since the first question of his mouth was, hey did you read the instructions? I feel offended since he could’ve just be more nice about it even though 99.9 of people does not read instructions anyways killed by all our families since Saturday and we all last Sunday kind of disappointed about not the place, but the Rangers , make me feel that power to his head to his head with kindness from their heart, knowing that people make sacrifice to visit our beautiful areas and we drove four hours there so No, no I’m not giving them at four star or nothing since they are much more in my eyes very insensitive to people sacrifices to be outdoors and celebrating Life

Location, availability, and price. To get a waterfront campsite at this rate is special. The kids loved it.

The lake has some great spots. The men's bathroom near our site had 2-3 (of 5) clogged/overflowing toilets the entire wknd and the urinal was out of order. Many site guests were extremely loud, quiet hours were not enforced.

The evening sunset views of this amazing lake at Blue Oaks North Shore were so beautiful beyond words. All the wildlife there put on a good show. The sounds of Mother Nature is so amazing. I am grateful to experience this place.
