Lake Hemet Campground — Reviews

We had a great time! We got together with a couple other families and we each reserved a cabin for the weekend. As soon as we got there we were greeted by our host Bill, he made us feel so welcomed and was willing to help is with any of our needs. He would drive around in his golf cart every couple hours just checking on everyone. This weekend was full of relaxation and our kids were actually being kids. The kids swam in the lake, played badminton, volleyball, made stores, etc. We will definitely come back again next year.

We’ve camped at lake hemet for years but this by far was the worst trip. Right when we got there we noticed trash all over our site. Made the kids pick up trash while we unhooked and set up trailer. Our fire pit was so full of ash . The bathroom was absolutely disgusting . We won’t ever stay on site 500 again.

We stayed at lion camp at campsite 400 our host was amazing very helpful caring on what we needed, the lake was awesome we brought our boat and our kayak, people were very friendly and helpful, lots of places to pick to camp at and great fishing.

Had a great stay! Camp site was very clean, shady and a lot to offer with marina rentals (online reservations would be a huge plus). Wish the splash zone was either a bit larger or had the large inflatables but overall, every thing was great!

We had an excellent time filled with gorgeous scenery. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly kind and helpful especially Ron and and his dog Lou! We will definitely be back!

First time staying here. We had a great experience from the moment we pulled in. Bill, one of the camp hosts is awesome. Checked on our site often and made sure that everyone was happy and satisfied. Would definitely recommend!

This place was great. It was awesome staying there through the night and seeing the night sky. I wasn't expecting to not have phone service, but it was definitely worth it. Everybody needs to just enjoy the beautiful scenery and spend time with your loved ones . I definitely will be back one day.

A rain storm took out the electricity and we were without electricity for afternoon and evening hours. Very unfortunate.

We really enjoyed our campsite and the lake is gorgeous. However, the campground could really use real restrooms. There is only one regular restroom and the rest are composting toilets. Also, there was tons and tons of trash both on our site and all over the campground. It was a very busy weekend so perhaps the trash was simply due to so many people. Otherwise, the staff were great and the campground was great. We do plan to go back one day.

Beautiful place, clean bathrooms! First time there and will come back again for sure ! Market was a bit expensive for wood and ice but that was expected !!

Bill our camp host was great, campground was beautiful, bathrooms were clean, and the boys caught fish!

Camp host Bill went out of his way to ensure we had a great time and everything we needed. He came to check on us frequently, gave us good places to fish, offered the girls a special treat, and was very personable.

The campsite was way better then expected. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. Our camp host Bill was very attentive and the facility cleaning ladies, Nancy Elsie and Jan did a fantastic job keeping the restrooms very clean. We will recommend this camp to our friends and families. Added note: The market had all that we needed but thought it was very pricey.
