We really enjoyed our stay, enough to extend it by a few days. We were along the water front and had a fantastic view. We left the front windshield blind open the entire time we were there. Our dog enjoyed her morning and evening walks on the beach. The sites are well spaced apart, and everything worked as it should. The employee in the office was very friendly at check in and helpful when we asked to stay extra days. The laundry room is very clean and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our meals at several local restaurants that we were able to walk to from the campground. We even walked down to the lighthouse and enjoyed the tour. We would highly recommend this campground and we would stay again if in the area.

This is definitely a hidden gem with very large sites and private beach access. This park is well maintained and the staff are friendly. The area is beautiful and close to lots of hiking and tons of Redwood trees as well as Elk. The only thing I would say is the homeless problem on the coast is REAL and there are some sketchy people using the day use area but not the parks fault.

Basic accommodation. Camphost was friendly and helpful Located very close to town which was nice to access store, but did not feel like 'camping'. Next time I will find a place in the redwoods.

Clothing washers were still broken. Which we looked past when booking expecting them to be working after several months of them being broken. Our RV Spot was fine, Easy access and large spots. Employees were very nice that checked us in. RV park looks to be one of the best in Crescent City.

Quiet at night, accessible to town, but homeless people in area were loud during the day.

Only because the laundry facilities were not available. No working washers. And a problem with homeless setting up camp on the beach, which I realize the campground cannot enforce. But somebody should (the County maybe) .Otherwise, would have given them 5 stars - great.

Great spots that are flat with plenty of room. WiFi worked great and we were next to the beach which was furthest away from the office. The man that checked us in was pleasant and let us know about the Aurora sighting. Quiet. Only negatives. Another camper got his bikes stolen but it does say right on the paperwork to make sure you lock everything up because there have been This in the area and the park is not fenced. It is open to get to the beach. Now the beach access is not the safest going down. There are a couple of trails, but you are stepping over concrete pieces and/or big rocks that are shoring up the banks of the park. It would be nice if there was a regular area with steps down to the beach.

The hookups were ok. We could have broken a tire in the potholes and the laundry facilities were out of order the entire time we were there with no apology . For a higher end park, $70 a night, we thought it was just mediocre.
