Clean and quiet. We wish there were tent spots by the playground!

We loved our stay! The playground was excellent and we swam at the beach every day. Plenty of bathrooms in both the campground and at the beach. The new, large picnic tables were great also. We’ll definitely be back.

I grew up in Moose Lake/Kettle River area and never stayed at campground. It so nice and peaceful. Will be coming back indeed

Had a great spot but never paid so much 200.00 for 3 nights. Feel amount was excessive.

Super quiet and clean. Beautiful swim beach and playground. Easy access to town.

The Moose Lake City Campground needs better care. Put some of the money that is made into improvements to the showerhouse. Something needs to be done about the geese. The lake smells like sewage.

It was good, activities to do over the fourth up in the park. And the fireworks to see…

We have stayed at the Moose Lake City Campground for many years over the 4th of July. It is still one of our favorite places to stay with family to celebrate the holiday. The campground has had noticeable decline in the facilities and grounds. The lower bathroom is in desperate need of paint - it is peeling off the walls in the showers and toilet area. There also seems to be a goose issue - at one point we counted nearly 50 in the campground tent area. There is so much poop on the shore and lake side camp sites that it makes it hard to enjoy the shoreline and water amenities. Bring your own rake if you want to not walk through it and track it all over your campsite and camper/tent. The campground doesn't seem to have any workers present to clean up sites when guests leave before another checks in - fire pits were full of ash and old wood, cigarette butts etc. The security of the campground has also lessened, there is a "back" entrance that comes up through a few sites from the ball field and it allows anyone to come cruising through. We noticed several cars coming through daily for a "drive" and they were not guests at the campground. There were also a lot of people walking through and parking within the campground during the activities in the city park that were not guests. Lastly, it is difficult to book through campspot - inconsistencies in available sites made it hard for our group to book this year. One family wasn't able to stay through the 4th because of it, although there were several empty sites over the weekend. Calls to the city office did not get response after leaving messages for inquiry. It was a frustrating experience. All in all we hope the city will continue to invest in their beautiful facility and keep it maintained to the level it used to be so people can enjoy it for years to come.

Very clean, Happy Campers, rest rooms and showers were maintained daily ! What a great experience for a couple first time campers ! Tent site was very spacious! Thank you for the great experience!

Very n8ce campground.

We love this campground! We always have a good time! The kids have so much fun at the beach and playground, we walked into town for ice cream and a farmers market, my son caught a real nice bass and a bunch of northerns, the guy in the office is very friendly and accommodating, the bathrooms and showers are kept clean, others campers are friendly and respectful. We can't wait to go back again!

Beautiful property. Can’t wait to return. Was disappointed that people with pets do not clean up after their animals. I had to pick up after the dog that was in our spot prior to us to get settled in. We took a walk around to get a feel for the different spots that would be just as appropriate for us prior to leaving and notice one of the best accessible spots that had an extremely well mannered, well trained, quiet and friendly dog, didn’t bother picking up after their dog either.

The park was very clean easy access nice to be by the lake

Setting was beautiful, bathrooms clean, tent sites nice. Lots of vehicle noise from nearby roads and would have been nice to have after hours wood available for purchase but overall very nice
