Love this campsite. It's not very big but it's very cozy and very comfortable. The bathrooms are small yet nice and very clean!! The staff is super friendly. I highly recommend.

Very neatly kept property, very secure, extremely close to Royal Gorge and other fun activities around Cañon City. Showers were spectacular, very clean, great water pressure.

The park was immaculate and there was even a guy raking the rocks. The only complaint would be the guy that’s apparently the camp manager, he was extremely rude and came out screaming at us as soon as we pulled in bc my dog jumped out when my daughter did. If it wasn’t for the guy that directed us to our spot we would have left. He was awesome and really caring. Overall though it’s a beautiful place

I will start with the good before the bad 1. The campground is in a beautiful area 2. Very clean and well maintained Now for the bad, when we arrived we parked next to a HUGE bump that we didn't see and there were no signs saying bump. We followed the owner behind his golf cart to our cabin and went over the bump at 3 miles per hour and it cracked our muffler in half. When I spoke to Paul he said if you went 5 miles per hour that wouldn't have happened. So we got blamed for their terrible bump. Also in the cabin it says if you take the key there will be a 5 dollar charge. We wanted to keep the key for memories so we left 10 dollars in the cabin for them. We then get a phone call after we checked out saying he is charging us 20 dollars for the key. We said we left 10 dollars and the sign said 5. He said it costs .ore than that.. we wouldn't have taken the key if we knew it was 20 bucks. He then hung up on us after we told him look we didn't complain about the bump and even left extra and he continued to charge us the 20 bucks. You pay almost 10 bucks for 5 slices of wood and the store hours is posted 10 a.m. but I went to talk to them at 10:15 and the office was still closed and he got upset when I saw him working in the office and knocked on the door. This was our first campspot experience and was disappointed. We will be back in the area but will not be choosing Mountain view for our stay.

We love Mountain View RV Resort, and typically stay there several times a summer. It is a hidden gem! The RV sites are fairly level and there is a concrete pad with either a patio set or picnic table. They escort you to your site a assist you to park. There is pea gravel that covers everything including the RV sites. Everything is maintained and manicured extremely well. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The sites are very spacious as well. We have never found a RV resort as nice and peaceful as this one. Did I forget to mention the views of the mountains are unmatched!

Staff was extremely welcoming and grounds are very well kept. The river was a beautiful added bonus. We will definitely visit again. :)

This is absolutely the cleanest RV resort/park I’ve ever been in. The staff is very friendly, helpful and busy. It is very quiet and the views are great. Most if not all spots have a large concrete patio and each spot is perfectly designed for all hookups and are level making for quick setup. The place is centrally located enabling day trips in every direction. We totally enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

The showers are spa like!

Our group rented 5 camp sites and 3 cabins. We had wonderful and friendly neighbors that are residents all season long. The common areas were perfect for socializing with all of our friends. Showers and bathrooms were always clean. We had Mule deer right outside out campers which were at the base of a mountain. Absolutely beautiful! We have discussed more than once that we would all love to go back to Mountainview resort. The OHV trails had breathtaking views, the best we have seen yet.

Easy In and Out, Safe & Secure, clean, and pleasant staff. Bathroom and showers were great!!

The campground was in great condition, as it always has been when we are there. We usually stay here several times a year. The staff is great, and helpful. The views are amazing of the mountain range! There are so many things to do in the area, you won't be bored.
